Very good value. Older resort but well maintained. Great beach, great pools. Very good location. Well equipped units. Rides to Costco, La Comer, Malicon and Zona Romantica all very affordable (10 pesos bus, ~130 pesos cab, slightly less Uber). Food Court across the road with a variety of well priced options. Soriana Grocery store 10 minute walk. Restaurante de Playa 100 meters north on the beach has lovely Mexican menu. Happy hour around the pool is good value. Staff all very friendly. Quality prompt sevice from the camarista, and maintenance repair staff. There is a barbecue onsite (but just one!)

We loved how friendly and accomodating the staff were. The resort was in a good location and the facilities were very good. The activities crew had amazing energy and were super interactive with guests and had fun activities throughout the day.

We were amazed by location of the hotel. Its right at the beach, that's what we want. There are also pools and jacuzzi and couple of restaurants in the hotel area. Restarants provides nice service and the food was great, can't complaint. Bar offers happy hours, so we've got all service we want! I've red in some reviews complaints, that tips are automatically included in bills, but to be honest I don't complaint this system at all. It is true that "propina" is set up as 15% for all orders, but I consider it as fair amount considering level of service we have had and I would give this amount by myself as well.

The staff was great for the most part, however I was disappointed with the time share nonsense!!! They present it as an easy quick excursion to see what they are offering and enjoy the other resort. It started out ok, but our kids were getting agitated and wanting to leave to enjoy the pool at our resort, as we were not able to supervise them and listen to the time share presentation at the same time. Yes it's a time share, they present as a membership, I had an open mind, until they laid out the cost, for us, it's a firm no! Signing up for a payment plan with high interest, that's equivalent to buying a new vehicle. I wasn't about to lock us into a monthly payment dept spread over years!! When I let our guide know this, her demeanor immediately changed!! She was rude and condescending, stating that I "wasted her time!" Among other petty comments I didn't have time to deal with! I would have responded to her behaviour but we had kids with us and it had been 4 hours, I just wanted to get the kids food, drinks and get them to our pool! Don't waste your vacation time!!! The resort's location is close to many stores and restaurants. Also close to the airport. The spacious rooms include kitchenettes which are so great for families with kids!! Due to construction, you are limited to 2 main pool areas, they can get busy and you have to get there early to get chairs. Kids loved playing in the pools all day, a great little slide in one of them as well as a waterfall. If you're not all inclusive, drinks and food are expensive!! Especially if you're Canadian!!! I recommend all inclusive if you kids to save yourself work and stress. If you're a smoker they only have 1 area to go to, it's a pain, who doesn't want to smoke if they drink!!?! I would still recommend, the convenience of the rooms and location was great, but definitely do all inclusive!
