Everything it was a wonderful find. The staff were great the accommodations were fantastic the beds were comfortable the pool was wonderful and the food at the restaurant was to die for.

The jungle room was awesome. Great quality/price ratio. Very close to airport. Good restaurant nearby too called the Coyote. For some reason staff wouldn’t let us check in early although we arrived at 12pm and our room was definitely ready before 3pm. They were nice and professional but sticked to the “rules” where as we could have greatly benefited of an early check in.

Beautiful and relaxing hotel didn't want to leave!!

The size of the room was excellent. The housekeeping staff were as in many places excellent.

“Lovely, relaxing hotel!”

There were 9 of us in 2 suites and this worked perfectly for us. We had lots of space and really enjoyed the pool and having the restaurant was handy during the day. It is quite far from things and we enjoyed walking to the beach and the marina but we were with a toddler and a pensioner so had to take taxis to the malecón as a group as it was too far for them to walk to the main boulevard.

From the moment I arrived i was impressed. I was already familiar with the location, which is central to the marina, beach, casino, and restaurants. Jenny was friendly and extremely welcoming and friendly. Jocelyn, the maid was all smiles, as was the wonderful man who maintains the grounds, and the fellow needing the bar. The room absolutely exceeded my expectations, with a kitchen, comfy king size beds, a balcony, fresh water in the fridge, coffee, and parking. All of my questions were answered in a friendly manner. You get the feeling everyone working at this hotel actually love their jobs. Honestly, it's the only place I stay when I return to PV. Lastly, it's very reasonably priced.

Quaint hotel in a safe area - clean and friendly staff. seemed like a long walk to restaurants (marina) and beach.

If you like dogs barking all day and night, this is your your spot.

“Wonderful stay in the Marina!”

Exceptional hotel! The suite was huge and quite well appointed. The beds are incredible! The staff were all lovely, good food and drinks at the restaurant. The grounds and the pool are very well maintained. The neighbourhood is very quiet. It is about 30-45 minutes from the Romantic Zone area, but ride-shares are easy to get and inexpensive.

“San Tropico - Another return”

4th time staying at San Tropico. My favorite hotel near the marina. Quiet location, great ammenities, top notch staff and super comfy accomodations. Also like to acknowledge the little poolside restaurant. Tasty food made with love. Excellent guacamole. Will return whenever in PV.

“Perfect escape in gorgeous surroundings”

I stayed here for just one night last year, and loved it so much that I came back this year for 4 nights. My favourite part is how calm and peaceful it is - I was here to work on some writing, and it was really quiet and tranquil. My apartment was huge and had everything I needed - kitchen, huge TV, lovely balcony, very comfortable bed. The pool is huge which is great if you love to swim, and the gardens are just beautiful - I really enjoyed watching the birds and lizards and hummingbirds. The food is also excellent (the shrimp quesadillas are out of this world), which is lucky because there isn't really anywhere good to eat nearby that isn't an expensive tourist trap - just eat here if you can! Staff are really friendly too. It really is an escape - it's in a very quiet neighbourhood and you won't want to leave!

Relaxing and peaceful property. Even when many rooms were occupied there were no crowds or sense that the property was busy. We were always able to get a bed by the pool to relax. Pool area and gardens well maintained, colourful and full of wildlife. The wild studio was exactly as pictured and a fantastic room to stay in. We opted for breakfast with the booking and enjoyed fresh dishes prepared for us along with the buffet every morning. Cocktails and soft drinks during the pool bar operating hours were reasonably priced. All staff were friendly and chatty. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, 1km safe/quiet walk to the nearest shops/supermarket with some eateries gave us everything we needed. Taxi/uber to the ZR was around 150 Pesos.
