Overview
The gay-friendly Hotel Mercurio is located in the centre of Puerto Vallarta, just 150 metres from the beach. All of the air-conditioned rooms have a flat-screen cable TV, free Wi-Fi and a safe. The Mercurio is located in Vallarta’s main gay neighbourhood, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The city’s gay beach is just 5 minutes’ walk away. The Mercurio has a swimming pool open 24 hours a day, as well as a pool bar open until late. Massage can be arranged on request. The staff in the Mercurio will be happy to offer advice on what to see and where to go. A gourmet breakfast is offered each day.

“A Touch of PVR (Puerto Vallarta) Hospitality!”
Attentive and friendly staff who will go above and beyond to service the guests. Hardy and gourmet breakfast made to order with variety of Western and Mexican food options on daily basis. Fresh squeezed OJ and fresh baked bread (multigrain, wheat and sourdough) with Nutella spread. Good food serve for lunch and dinner. Centrally located and walking distance to beach, shopping areas, restaurants, stores, and tourist sights. Transportation we arranged to/from the airport to hotel are both reliable. Good happy hour, meeting other guests and local people. Had a bonus on our last night to grace and enjoyed the debut of Open Microphone Karaoke at the hotel hosted by Nick Rogers and Fernandina. Muchos Gracias - Joselo, Gabriel, Jorge, Poleth (welcoming smile), Hugo and Carmen (who handled my special request for our room.)

AMAZING LOCATION, STAFF AND CLEANERS WERE ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL, ALTHOUGH THE PLACE IS A LITTLE TIRED AND DATED THE CLEANERS KEEP IT IMACCULATELY CLEAN, THE FOOD IN THE RESTAURANT IS AMAZING AND VERY WELL PRICED. BREAKFAST IS SOOOOO WORTH IT. EVERY DAY ALSO INCLUDED SPECAILS AND THE BREAKFAST WAS OUR HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY. THE OTHER GUESTS WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL IN GREAT PLACES TO GO AND SEE AS SOME HAD BEEN GOING FOR 25 YEARS TO MERCURIO

Location of this hotel was fantastic. The staff went out of their way to help and assist and were super friendly. While basic and possibly a little dated the rooms were comfortable and clean. I would happily return here again.

“Sweet not too expensive little gay hotel”
This is a small sweet hotel located perfectly near the beach in the center of zona romantica. i thought the rooms would be better for this price but they are still really OK. breakfast is VERY nice. the place is sometimes loud - did not really bother me 95% of the time - but if you like quiet places this is not one. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is great. there are also shows and little parties. wifi / AC / hot water etc - were all pretty good. All and all it's a sweet place.

These people have fun all day, every day, and still get their jobs done. They always provided a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, guests and visitors alike. Somebody had a birthday one night and it was the best birthday song and celebration that I've ever heard, by far. The room was clean, the service was excellent, and the staff were all professional yet personable. This is a special place full of joy. Five stars.
