“Very good stay in an exceptional setting”

The property is beautiful, and we kept discovering interesting things (they have a little museum of the colonies and of the guarani independence, lush vegetation, two swimming pools, a lounge bar and a restaurant). The room was very spacious and comfortable with all the usual amenities. What we liked most were the views over the river from the terrace. You can have your breakfast there with a gorgeous backdrop. The breakfast itself was good. While the property is not in the center, that may be for the best, as it is very quiet and has a relaxed feeling to it. Puerto Iguazu is not very big, and trips by taxi/uber are short and inexpensive. The reception staff was very helpful.

“Tranquil place immersed in wonderful garden with sunset over Parana river”

Guamini Mision is an interesting complex built on model of a Jeuzuite mission. The "church" is a restaurant, the "cells" for natives are spacious comfortable guest rooms. The buildings are located within a wonderful tropical garden that is looked after with meticulous care. The best part is the "breakfast room" deck at the back which overlooks Monday and Parana rivers looking into Paraguay. You can watch a wonderful sunset from a small infinite swimming pool. The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool, a small gym and a small spa where you can book a massage. The breakfast is fantastic, with amazing tropical fruit. 30-40min taxi ride takes you to Iguazu Falls. 20 minutes walk from Hito Tres Fronteras where the Parana and the Iguazu rivers meet, with views into Brazil and Paraguay. I would recommend to spend a few days here, like we did, not just one night to see the falls. It's worth it!

Loved its location next to Parana river in large gardens. Large bedroom good space for storing clothes etc. cafe next to pool and river. Restaurant too - excellent staff , friendly and helpful.

“Memorable experience of natural connection with the past and the present.”

We loved having breakfast on the deck by the river and eating breakfast while the birds darted around. The river flowing by, the lush gardens and the peace and serenity of the environment. We loved the tango show and danced tango with the maestros.

Such a great hotel! We wish we would have an extra day just to stay and enjoy on hotel’s territory. Very beautiful territory, so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful view on Paraguay across the river. Breakfast was very nice, great variety of food and drinks.

Loved the location on the river over looking Paraguay. 10 minute uber ride into centre of town.

This hotel is simply beautiful. The whole complex is a mix of old colonial architecture and modern facilities. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The interior design was very classy and chic. There are nice amenities, including a swimming pool. There is also a beautiful terrace with a great view of the Paraná River. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were great—friendly and helpful.

“Way to far from citycenter.”

It looks lovely, but we decided not to stay. Is very far from city center and public transport alternatives aren’t really close by (7 blocks to the closet stop… but it is 10 to downtown) 🤷🏻‍♀️
