“Peaceful getaway”

Very peaceful location, big rooms, lovely pool, delicious breakfast and nice staff. It is a bit away from everything, but we really enjoyed that. La punta is really just 10-15 min walk, or you can get a taxi at any time.

Breakfast was good. The staff was gentle and friendly. Our room was good, air conditioning (completely necessary to survive) worked well and quite in silent. Location is OK if you have a private transport. Not great if you plan to go by walking.

Lovely pool area, nice staff, very yummy food, overall felt very homely! Would definitely recommend as great value for money. Nice relaxing location away from the main area of La Punta - would definitely recommend getting a scooter or quad bike as the walk was too long for us, but the hotel order taxis for you if not so all good.

Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night, having booked 4 for a special birthday. The hotel was not to the high standard we were expecting from its score and reviews. Cleanliness and maintenance were not of a high standard, and the place seemed understaffed. There was undisclosed building work happening on arrival. Pool not maintained well. Stains on the pool beds and towels tired and stained. The room was tired and not very well maintained. Stained pillows, dusty, poorly lit, smelly, noisy A/C. It's a bit far from town, 10 min walk. Customer service was infuriating when trying to obtain a refund. They use an AI bot. We are still hoping for a refund to be granted as we feel the property is currently misrepresented as a classy boutique hotel.

Great value for money and the stay exceeted my expectations including the room and food at the premesis.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The beds were the best bit of our stay - so comfortable! The staff were lovely and the food reasonably priced with it being a hotel. We loved the pool and there were lots of sun loungers which was great. They bought shots and free snacks round!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Good quality for the price we paid (around €125 a night). Perfect pool/bar to chill and relax between the beach time and other activities. Nice staff. Location was fine. We enjoyed the ~10min walk to the main strip, and due to its location, it was also possible to enter a more quiet beach as well.

Absolutely amazing place. The rooms were very comfortable and large. The pool area is fantastic with double bed per apartment and the food was incredible. Every meme we of staff were super friendly and professional. The location is 10 mins from the beach in a taxi and it’s very safe.

Couldn’t imagine a better stay in Puerto Escondido than at Bora. Hands down the best accommodation we have ever experienced. We originally booked two nights and ended up staying for an entire week, thats how special this place is. It’s not just about the facilities or the location - it’s the vibe that makes Bora unique. There’s a sense of calm and freedom here that lets you truly unwind and enjoy your time off to the fullest. A huge thank-you to the wonderful staff, always ready to help and make us feel comfortable. You made our stay unforgettable.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Less than 10 minutes down the hill to the hustle and bustle of La Punta. Which made it the perfect location because it was so peaceful and quiet while being so close to the action. Everyone who works at the hotel was beyond lovely and helpful. The selection and quality of food and drinks was great and had everything you could have wanted. I really could not recommend Bora Boutique Hotel more.

“Paradise!”

Amazing hotel retreat in Puerto Escondido. We stayed here for 3 nights and had the most relaxing stay away from the crowds in La Punta. Thank you to Jacquelin for making the most amazing smoothies (“El Jefe” smoothie) and to Lendi and the rest of the Team for the friendly, attentive service, for helping to arrange taxis and for serving a delicious dinner. The hotel is very luxurious as each room has it’s own garden terrace and outdoor shower. The pool was thoroughly cleaned every morning too. Highly recommend for your stay in Puerto Escondido

“Muchos Beunos”

The location was great - a little off the beaten track but a relatively 10-15 min easy downhill walk to the shops & beach. You will most likely need to get a cab back but the fares are reasonable and it takes >5mins. The pool area was amazing! You could stay there all day and enjoy the great service from staff and soak up the sun on the generously sized sun beds. Also, very cool that each room has it's own rooftop terrace. Rooms are all off the pool so unless you keep the curtains closed it's not superrr private. However, they were modern, spacious and the beds were huge and very comfy. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. The food & drinks were great and came out quickly! I would live there if possible - highly recommend. Thank you BORA :)
