“Did the job”

The overall rating you see on Booking.com is accurate. It's a pretty average hotel but if you want a decent priced hotel so you can explore the island, it does the job. The rooms are nice and big, the view is pretty and getting breakfast is a bonus. Again average hotel but depends what you want from the experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Hostal Gosen. What truly made the experience special was the incredible staff — they were always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful with anything I needed. You can really feel the warmth of a family-run place here. The family does an amazing job making guests feel comfortable and at home, and their dedication shows in every detail. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and caring atmosphere.

“Great location”

Location was great. Staff were really helpful and kind. Breakfast was always a wonderful surprise and different each day.

We stayed in family room with a sea view for 4 nights. Thanks, the breakfast every morning was good. Easy to get towels in receioton to take to the beach. In the reiceptionis is also possible to fill up bottles with water.

Ocean view, helpful owner, spacious room.

Arrived with a confirmed booking, to then be told there was a booking issue and have to walk to an alternative Hostel. Arrival time had been confirmed that day with no comment of booking issue. Would have found elsewhere but just arrived off ferry, tired and considered I may be charged no show fee if declined. Owner seemed dismissive / grumpy. Also had to walk from alternative Hostel to here for the fairly poor breakfast. (By similar priced accom standards). Worth go ogle reviews prior to booking...

“Highly recommended because of the location”

The location is perfect. It's a few minutes walk to the boulevard. The staff is extremely nice. You can have a lovely breakfast downstairs.

It was clean and in a good location. There’s a nice view from the balcony. Breakfast was pleasant. The price was reasonable.

The view from our balcony was excellent and location in town was great. The staff speak a little English so best to know a little bit of Spanish to communicate. Breakfast is a set menu every day from 6.30- 9am so you just go down to tell them your drink order for the morning and they bring the breakfast to you. Generally very relaxing.

Breakfast is different everyday and the hostal has a nice view from the terrace, it's close to beaches and the center. Great bed and big bathroom.

We had a room on the second floor with a large terrace shared with other rooms. Each room had its own table for breakfast. It had a wonderful view of the sea and seals. The room was very nice. I highly recommend your hotel.

Beautifully decorated entrance. Big hostel with many rooms. Had a top floor room and had nice views whilst having breakfast from the port and sunsets. The room is very big, with air con and plenty of space. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was super nice and fulfilling!
