“Great house, great owners, great stay”

I liked everything! The house is lovely. the bedroom was lovely and the owners are lovely! What more could you want! I would highly recommend Downen House to anyone looking for a historic gem close to downtown and in a beautiful neighborhood.

Gorgeous historic home. The hosts are very pleasant and interesting people. The breakfast was delicious. We plan to stay there again next time we go to Pueblo.

We loved the personal style and interior design - but most the two hosts. We felt extremely welcome and enjoyed the historic house as well as the two owners. The home made breakfast as well as the cosy living room and bar made us feel like home

“It is a great place to stay and learn about the era”

Tammy and Scott are amazing hosts and gave us a very welcoming and friendly feeling. The home is amazing, and they did an excellent job of preserving it. The house is decorated and full of artifacts that enable one to actually see and feel how it was 100 years ago. Their knowledge of the area and era was great, and they gave us very good recommendations as to where to go and what to see. Had we known that before, we would have probably chosen to stay longer. We definitely recommend it to anyone who thinks of staying 100 mils around Pueblo

We had a marvelous time at Downen House and Breakfast. The breakfast was extraordinarily delicious. We had lots of space in our apartment.

I really enjoyed my stay at Downen. It's a beautiful house and the owner's were amazingly accommodating. I had very pleasant conversations with the husband and wife. The breakfast itself was excellent. I remember being pleasantly surprised that not only were they very personable but also amazing cooks! The room itself was very comfortable and private with its own bathroom. I will absolutely stay here again and am looking forward to the opportunity.

We're so glad we stayed at Downen House! It is a very beautiful, large historic house, filled with period furniture and fittings in a lovely quiet suburb. Tamara and Scott were so welcoming and had thought of absolutely everything to ensure their guests have a wonderful time. Our room was extremely comfortable - palatial even - and the breakfast, served by our hosts in a beautiful dining room, was amazing. We cannot rate this place highly enough. Pueblo itself was a really delightful and interesting town to visit and far nicer than I was expecting.

Thank you Scott and Tami for a great experience. We enjoyed the stay at your B&B so much. It was our Nr. 1 during our 4 week roundtrip. The breakfast was so good. Our eating habits were taken into account. We can truely recommend the Downen House.
