The mattress in the garden view room was very comfortable. The view from the room was great with views of the mountain and the nesting storks on top of the mobile phone mast!

“Beautiful house in a very charming village”

A really lovely house situated in a lovely little village. 5 of us stayed (2 adults, 2 16 year old and 1 10 year old) sharing 1 of the larger rooms. The owner was very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and we had use of the shared kitchen and lounge area. We enjoyed the village, a few bars and restaurants with fantastic food and drink. Recommend restaurant Madrid, the food was amazing and you can't go wrong with the menu of the day... We were up early the first few days to travel to the areas near the picos de europa (cangas de onis, covadonga) absolutely beautiful. A 3 hour drive away for those who enjoy driving through the amazing landscapes. We also travelled to gijon, oviedo, leon and ribedesella. All beautiful. The last few days we stayed in the area and climbed the Susaron mountain the trail starts just 5 mins from Casa susaron. Also 20 mins away you have some amazing lakes with a damp that we enjoyed very much. The towels and sheets were changed everyday of our visit, which was great.. The room and bathroom were very spacious the only issue we had was sharing the bathroom and waking up after 10 the hot water didn't last too long but that was our fault for having some lazy days. All in all a beautiful house is a beautiful area.

Great traditional property beautifully clean and presented in a great village with a very authentic and friendly local bar. We were not sure from the description what the property was. I guess it’s like a smart hostel with lovely en-suite room and shared kitchen and lounge etc. Really lovely hosts - I wished we had some Spanish to communicate more effectively.

The house was full of character. The twin room with garden view had a lovely area to sit and relax on a day bed.

Old house, refurbished which made it a very nice, charming place to stay. The common rooms have all you need i.e., kitchen, dining area etc. The owner was very friendly and helpful (too bad our Spanish is pretty low level). The accommodation is pretty central in the village, with some nice restaurants, good food for reasonable money, just around the corner. A small supermarket is also just down the road. The best of it is the area. Good for hiking with fantastic views and nature. Tranquil places. You pick what you like and enjoy.
