Set in picturesque domes overlooking the Villarica lake and Volcano, Magma Lodge Hotel Boutique – Pucòn offers ecological accommodation 3 km from Pucon. Breakfast is provided daily. The hotel offers direct beach access to Villarica Lake. Built on stilted wooden structures in accordance with geodetic guidelines, domes at Magma Lodge have roof windows that make for star watching. Guest can arrange for Hot Tubs prior arrival for an additional charge weather permitted, located in the middle of the woods, or enjoy the panoramic lake views from the rooftop terrace. Bicycle rentals can be arranged. An American breakfast is served daily and the restaurant, open exclusively for guests offers dinner and lunch in an intimate setting. Reservation is needed. Magma Lodge Hotel Boutique is 109 km from Temuco Airport.

Epic view from a cosy lodge. The lake is a few steps across the beach and great to swim in. Bathroom was fine and a kettle plus there is an option of going to the cafeteria until 8pm for food.

“I would not recommend coming here for the price point. The location is nice but the facilities and service do not warran”
Bad value for money: underinvested yurt with black mold in the bathroom and not properly cleaned at arrival (open can of coke on the bedside table). Bad staff service: we asked for a take away breakfast that never came and there was no follow up or apology. They only take credit card to pay in usd and they do not announce it on Booking and the only realistic option they give is to pay in chilean pesos with VAT (20% more expensive stay). At time of payment they were incredibly unhelpful and unfriendly.
