“A lovely stay with very kind staff.”
We had a medical emergency on our first evening and the way the staff, especially Michael, handled the situation was truly amazing. He went above and beyond in assisting and making sure we were cared for. He looked after everything and was so caring, making sure we were okay. He went above and beyond. The kindness by all the staff and guests in the hotel will be remembered for a very long time. The hotel is lovely. Well located, clean and very comfortable. Also, very quiet at night.

“Great location”
The location and setting in the centre of Provins is perfect, especially with the onsite parking available. Our room was a fair size and had a nice outlook, but the air conditioning was making a lot of intermittent noise and occasionally disturbed us at night; we noted that the aircon engineers were working on site during our stay. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and attentive staff. The food presentation was excellent, but the food itself wasn't particularly tasty, especially considering the price charged.

This was an 'OK' hotel that felt a little faded in many respects. Perfectly fine, but it could do with a bit of a refresh as the decor was all a bit tired and well used. The subterranean bar was interesting, although we had to wait for 30 minutes to be served - it wasn't busy.

“Beautiful village.”
Nice hotel in a beautiful timbered village. The hotel has a modern annex where most of the rooms are situated. There is a restaurant on site and a beautiful 11th century cave bar which must be seen.
