“Excellent!”

I couldn’t recommend this place more! Everything is very comfortable, clean, and safe. Dora made everything much easier ... She is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. She assisted me with all the travel logistics, including tours and arranging a taxi back to the airport. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The room was very spacious and had a comfortable bed. There is air conditioning, which makes a big difference in the heat of Providencia. Shower is cold. The hotel is about a 18-minute walk from the town center, and there are also two restaurants right next to the hotel. I was very happy with my stay and highly recommend it!

“Unique experience and best value for money”

Upon arrival I already got a message from Dora with information about the check in process. When I arrived she was already waiting for me. From the very beginning I was feeling welcome. Within minutes I got a moto I rented from Dora and her husband. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was decent and the location quiet. On my last day I was allowed to check out late so I could do the hike to the Pico and shower before leaving. Dora organized a Taxi for me to the airport and when I mentioned that I was hungry I got a meal and even a desert for free. I was treated like family. This is a unique once in a lifetime experience. Thank you!

Dora, the owner of the property, lives downstairs and she is such a nice person which treated us like daughters. Her love and care for us was notable. The property was super clean and the breakfast was always delicious

We really enjoyed the stay at Mary & Matt lodge. Dora is an amazing host and really looked after us very well. She organised a scooter for us which was directly delivered to the accommodation, recommended a boat tour including snorkelling and had great tips for places to see and where to eat. We could always ask her when we needed anything and she was super helpful. There is Wi-Fi available in the room which worked very well. We felt very welcome and would certainly recommend staying here.

Highly recommending this place! The room is clean, has a comfortable bed, couch, A/C, TV, fridge. Dora the owner is super sweet! I had a very warm welcome with homemade lemonade. She brought the breakfast to my room every day.

I loved the location of the Posada. It was near Archie's a great late night meal pick me up place right next door! The bank is up the road. The downtown area for a supermarket, pharmacy, and rental places is a 5 minute scooter ride away. The water is 5 minutes walking distance. The first beach is about a 5 minute scooter ride as well. It's a great place for solo travelers, couples, friends and families. It's in a quiet part of the bay area. I felt very safe my whole time on the island and I felt welcomed by everyone.
