“Cosy, relaxinf stay in Procida”

Really well located and tucked away enough to give you a quiet retreat. Susy was lovely and a very accommodating host. She set us up with maps and even helped us reserve a table at a restaurant. The cherry on the cake is her garden, we spent a lot of time reading and relaxing under the lemon trees in between the days activities. Would definitely visit again.

“Paradise garden”

If you have Susi, as host, you'll arrive home. (You'll get kind welcome, love, and attention.) Just this special home is full of the smell of mediterranean flowers, oranges, lemones, naspoi. You'll get your breakfast in a garden, looks like a paradise. You taste Milena's home made citrone jam, and cakes. We left a part of our hart there. Beside, the house is 6 minutes by foot to the ferry porto, 5 minutes from mini market, 6 minutes the closest beach, and just walk up the stteet, get down on the other side the stairs to the film makers favorite, amasing little bay, harbour of fishermen, Marina Corricella.

Wonderful welcome when we arrived. The host and hotel staff were very kind and received wonderful hospitality during our short stay. Great location. Close to Port and main attractions of the island. Beautiful breakfast in the garden every morning - excellent coffee. Provided with a map and helpful information about the island upon arrival. Comfortable bed. Large rooms with plenty of storage for clothes.

“A lovely stay in a natural Italian guesthouse, full of charm & local produce!”

This is a charming suite of apartments & rooms, with a large beautiful garden behind it. Here Gennaro and his family grow fruit & vegetable produce and home-bake cakes, pastries & amazing lemon jams with all these ingredients! Breakfasts in the garden were a highlight! We really enjoyed staying here, the room was spacious, with excellent air-con, and though fronting onto a small street, the street sounds were not at all intrusive - and the location was perfect - just a few minutes walk to the main harbour.

“Best stay in Procida”

It was our second year in a row coming to the Borghetto and it was an excellent stay, just like last year ! Gennaro and Milena were exceptional, as always, at looking after us. The location is perfect, close to the marina and the old port. Also excellent to get to the beach. Breakfast is lovely and is held in the garden which is full of fruit trees and beautiful flowers. If you are planning a stay in Procida you must book the Borghetto! We will definitely be back again next year. Thanks for everything

Was a fantastic property, with an enormous common garden with a beautiful vegetable patch that we picked fresh vegetables from and cooked with in our kitchen. Gennaro was a fantastic host and ensured we had everything we possibly needed. This was a really nice stay!

“A comfortable and welcoming base in a beautiful location”

We rented a one bed apartment (one double bed and one single) with separate dining space, kitchen, shower room (and a private shaded patio) for a week in mid-June and were warmly welcomed by the host, Gennaro. We found our apartment to be immaculately clean with crisp bedlinen and plentiful towels (bring your own beach towels) and we were not troubled by noise from the street. Like other reviewers, we appreciated the invitation to make use of the garden produce including courgettes, aubergines, herbs and lemons. The apartment itself is simply furnished (no sofa or armchairs) but it had all we needed for our week's stay including quiet and efficient AC in the bedroom. The kitchenette is equipped with basic cooking equipment - pots and pans (we brought some utensils from home having read previous reviews), and has a fridge (no freezer), microwave grill separate gas hob - perfect for preparing simple meals. There is a Moka coffee pot (no kettle) and essentials such as salt, sugar, olive oil, coffee and a large bottle of water are provided,. Small bathroom with shower (water pressure a little slow). Bring your own toiletries inc shower gel. The apartment is conveniently situated next door to an excellent grocery store and near a bakery, wine shop, fruit and veg shop and small supermarket. Gennaro recommended some great restaurants both in the port itself and also in nearby Marina Corricella (all reasonably priced). The nearest sandy beach is a 10 minute walk (pretty Spiaggia Silurenza) where you can hire a parasol and 2 sunbeds for €20 a day - lovely to swim here in crystal clear water. June seems a good time to be in Procida - before the crowds arrive! We loved it. A big thank you to Gennaro and Milena for their warm welcome and professionalism.

Beautiful location! Lovely, fully equipped and clean apartment with a huge terrace and a wonderful garden full of lemon and orange trees. The breakfast was made by our hosts in the garden - coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade pastry - everything was delicious. Gennaro and Milena were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The location was close to everything, a short walk from the ferry station and the center of the island, 10 minutes walk to the beach. Perfect! :)

Parfait! The receptionniste is one of the best in our entire vacation (merci beaucoup de votre hospitalité et gentillesse ! ) and the place is excellent. We had a wonderful time there with my son.

The property is perfectly located being a short walk from the port and from the island center, one ends up passing by very often which is super handy. The staff is the best, super kind welcoming and supportive. The private garden is an heaven. Last but not least: their breakfast is a blast! I will definitely go back!
