“Sea front gem”

Such a beautiful spot and a wonderful and generous host. Salvatore met us to check in at the start and gave many great recommendations about the island. He offered to help book a restaurant that would collect you by boat to take you around the corner to their private beach! A very sweet sea- themed apartment that is very well looked after. Incredible to have a terrace onto the esplanade, with stunning sea views. Perfect location on a section of the island without cars. The area felt authentic and the locals were friendly. Amazing to see the fishermen mending their nets just outside. Beware steep stairs to access this section of the island, although these are well maintained and we managed just fine with suitcases. I would bring a backpack instead next time, for ease. I forgot my Kindle, and the host generously posted it back to us the next day in Rome. We loved our stay and will come back again and again.

“Charming property in a wonderful harbourside location”

We loved being on the harbour side in beautiful Corricella. Casa Sottorar is spacious, very well equipped and wonderfully cool even when it was really hot outside. The main double bed was very comfortable (there are two more smaller beds which we didn’t need to use but great for 4 people). We loved sitting out on the little patio in front of the property for breakfast, overlooking the glistening sea and watching the world go by. Even though it is right on the harbour side Casa Sottorar is set back a little so we still felt we had privacy even in the busiest times of the day. We loved that Corricella can only be accessed on foot so no noise from cars or motor bikes! Great places to eat, cool bars and delicious ice cream right on your doorstep and easy access to the rest of this lovely island. Salvatore was so helpful from the time of booking and throughout our stay. We’d love to come back!

the location was fantastic the apartment was lovely and clean the owners where friendly and meet us to check in .Informed us of how to get around the island ,restaurants and shops which I thought was s great personal touch

close to excellent restaurants but still very quiet. being on the water, the view straight from your front door was stunning. a little patio out the front made u feel as though you were a local. A very special place, absolutely loved it.

“Home away from home”

Lovely house on the front of the small harbour, we arrived by water taxi which was arranged by the host and was a really fun way to get to the property, however on return we walked back to the main port, one relatively short hill and it was downhill from there! The house had everything you could possibly have needed and we stayed in and made our own food and ate out on the terrace a couple of nights. We walked the whole island in 2hrs but there are buses that go all over.

Everything!! Communication before arriving from Salvatore was great, he recommended an app for the island which was most helpful. He arranged for us to get a water taxi from the port to the apartment which we did and I am so glad we did because one- there is no way we would have found it without being hot and bothered and 2 - the taxi was great fun and a great start to our stay, with the driver telling us everything about the island while giving us a bottle of fizz!! Salvatore's lovely wife met us from the taxi and took us to the apartment which did not disappoint, the place is clean and spacious being a family of 5, we didn't feel like we were on top of one another, also very cool which is welcoming when it's so hot outside. The apartment is situated right next to some great restaurants and the view out on the terrace is just stunning. Definitely like to return one day.

The location is perfect - right in the heart of the beautiful restaurants away from the port side which is the main tourist drag. You can swim about 1 min walk away and catch wat taxi to anywhere else in the island you want Cafes and bars all on your door step Place was very clean Beds comfortable The hosts were very helpful in booking places for us and helping us with recommendations

“Charming and ideally located”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is charming and comfortable, with everything we needed. We loved the location—just steps from restaurants and a 15-minute hilly walk from Marina Grande and the ferry dock. Sitting on the terrace with coffee or a bottle of wine was a wonderful way to start and end our days. And the hosts were so hospitable, providing us a bottle of wine and groceries to get started. We highly recommend this home and hosts and would definitely stay here again!
