“Ideal for a Peaceful Break”

I found this hotel to be ideal for anyone wanting a peaceful break without being too far from local life. The village nearby is within walking distance, but the resort itself has everything you need. Our room was spotless, and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. The buffet meals were varied each day, with fresh ingredients and good presentation. The staff were polite and efficient, and the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming at all times.

“A Great Choice for a Summer Getaway”

Alea Hotel & Suites turned out to be an excellent choice for our summer getaway. The combination of comfortable rooms, friendly service, and easy access to the beach made our stay memorable. We enjoyed the variety at breakfast and dinner, and the staff were always available if we had any questions or requests. The atmosphere is calm but not dull, and the overall cleanliness of the resort is impressive. I would gladly come back in the future.

“Very bad management”

Dear Booking, I would like to briefly share my disappointment with my check-in at ALEA Hotel & Suites Thassos on 23.09.2025. My companions and I arrived on 23.09. at 4:10 PM. There were no other customers at the front desk, however, our check-in took more than an hour because: * First of all, there were no available rooms corresponding to the those, I booked; * I was successively offered 4 different rooms, all of which were lower class than the one booked; * The fifth room offered had a strong residual smell of cigarette smoke; we are all non-smokers. * In the end, I was still offered two rooms that matched my booking, but one of them could not be opened with the provided card, so I had to wait in front of the door for them to bring me an additional mechanical key, * When leaving the hotel on 27.09 early in the morning (5:30AM) I did not receive a final balance / invoice for the amounts I paid (although the previous evening I warned the same receptionist about the early check-out). I have thirty years of experience in intensive international travel in four continents, but I have never encountered such a welcome anywhere in the world. Best regards! Mladen Tsonev

The location is excellent with facilities on the beach just for the hotel. As a family hotel it really nails it at least if you're an all inclusive guest. Lots of choices on the buffet on a daily basis, different swimming pools taht will keep the family in-house. I would put the overall experience an 8+

“Excellent choice”

This all-inclusive resort exceeded my expectations: clean, comfortable, very friendly staff, and excellent food.

Restaurant, reception and bar staff were fantastic. The food was really good with so many choices .

The hotel is very good located, with own beach. The sea is clean and the sea is rough. Very good for kids.

The stuff was polite and the room was nice.

Very well maintained, clean and exceptionally well run with friendly helpful staff. Well spread out so not cramped. Beach area ideal for children as shallow and sandy for a long distance away from the shore. We couldn’t fault this hotel. Great air-con, comfortable beds , great service and food was a good quality and plenty of variety.

Well run hotel, staff is polite, food is good. Beach is OK, overall a very very good for family holiday.

“Disaster”

Extremely disappointed with our stay at Alea Hotel and Suites in Thassos — so much so that we left a day early and changed hotels. First of all, the beach is disgusting. Full of trash, seaweed, and completely neglected. The hotel does absolutely nothing to clean it or make it usable. The sunbeds that are shown in all the pictures? Forget about it — they’re all “reserved” and basically untouchable, even if no one’s using them. It feels like false advertising. The whole place is completely misleading from what you see online. Most of the photos simply don’t reflect reality. It’s not even close to what’s advertised as a 4-star hotel. On top of that, one of the restaurants was closed during our stay without any notice, and the other one had incredibly slow and disorganized service. We also had to call twice to get our bed sheets changed — again, not what you expect from a supposedly high-end hotel. Parking was another nightmare. Every single day we got a warning note that our car would be towed, even though the receptionist said it was okay to park there. We travel a lot, and this was hands down one of the most frustrating hotel experiences we’ve had. Not worth the money, not worth the stress. Definitely not a 4-star hotel by any standard.

“Beyond expectations”

Everything was perfect. Private beach, several pools, fitness center, spa, padel court, beach volleyball, beach football, indoor entertainment for kids… Cleaning was spotless. Hospitality was on another level - our kid was sick for two days, and everybody was so kind and helpful. Food - we had a HB, breakfast was very good but the dinner was unexpectedly good. Every night there was a new program and new lineup of dishes. Antonios, the manager, and his whole crew lifted this hotel to a five star facility. Overall it was a great experience.

“A Beautiful Setting Undermined by Service Issues”

Our stay at ALEA Hotel in Thassos began on a positive note — we were welcomed with a warm reception, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beach was truly beautiful. We were initially looking forward to a peaceful and relaxing holiday. We would also like to highlight the exceptional service we received from Rossie at the à la carte restaurant. Her kind, professional, and attentive approach made for a truly delightful dinner experience. Additionally, we appreciate the way the customer service team addressed our concerns with sensitivity after the incident we experienced — their responsiveness was meaningful and helped to ease our disappointment.

I liked the food, the location and the staff were nice. The room was cleaned very good every day.

Location is great, with a very large beach and very beautiful sea. Easy to reach, available parking lots. Staff was firnedly, we had a bottle of wine and some juice for the kids waiting in our room.
