Our host, Mona, was excellent. She made sure we had everything we needed. The house has 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, 3 of the bedrooms were buildings outside the main house and was perfect for those who needed to sleep later in the mornings. The lounge in the main building is very cozy with a fireplace and beautiful views of the mountains. There were also comfortable seating areas on the stoep that was perfect for out morning coffee in the sun.

“Amazing property in a quaint little town in South Africa”
Absolutely loved this property! From the gorgeous views out of the living room to the super well equipped kitchen to all the various communal spaces to relax. The rooms were spacious and super comfortable. I cannot wait to come back here some day.

The Olive House is such an amazing property. It is ideal for groups of people who love visiting on the verandah, with the sounds of nature and gorgeous views all around, in the most welcoming and elegant of spaces. The home is tastefully decorated, cosy, elegant, warm. It is spacious and airy. In summer or in winter, this is a haven for a family or group of friends sharing time together. We didn't want to leave.
