Travelling with two families i.e. four parents and four small children (ages 3 - 7). The house, its terrace and the garden were excellent for this group: children climbing trees / using the swing set, parents relaxing and bbbq-ing at the terrace. No traffic passing, safe for the children to play. The house has multiple bed rooms, renovated at very high standards, three bathrooms and all other facilities needed. Chablis is really close, Beaune is about an hour of a drive. Very friendly host. All in all: highly recommended if you wish to stay in the area.

Maison de Pauline is an excellent holiday home away from home in a fantastic picturesque location. The house and furnishings are of a very high standard. The host very accommodating and helpful. Location wise it is in the middle of the wineries (a car is advisable though), where air is fresh and 2 out of the 4 bedrooms have views of the rolling hills. The kitchen and lounge area is spacious and clean. There is a nespresso machine (you need to bring your own capsule although a grocery store in the Chablis town does sell capsules). There are washer and dryer, and drying rack. In front of the house there is a shaded outdoor area with BBQs and chairs/ tables, which I imagine would be very handy in summer time. There are also small swings just right outside, for families with small children.
