The space is set in the Pyrenes mountains and every view was beautiful. We were there in mid September with cool nights and beautiful days.

We had a great stay at Hotel Val du Tech. Really delicious breakfast and very reasonably priced. Nice touches like home made bread and good quality cold cuts. Excellent coffee freshly prepared. Hotel is beautifully situated in a mountain valley- you will fall asleep to the sound of rushing water from the Tech river. The lounge and dining rooms are lovely with chequerboard floors and high ceilings. Stunning views from every window. We loved looking at the 3d maps of the mountains and the vintage tourist posters. Staff are very warm and friendly, we will definitely be back. The area is beautiful with many trails into the mountains, we found fun places with access to the river as it tumbles through the alpine plain.

Great place in the mountains to escape from the heat in Spain. Spacious and very clean room overlooking the river. Cold plates at lunch and dinner were delicious. Also enjoyed the craft beers. Hosts very welcoming and helpful.

The location is out of town but close to hiking which is what we wanted. There is a bar with inside and outside seating so no need to go into town. Also there is a large sitting room with big windows and views all around. Breakfast was basic but very good with fresh bread and croissants.

The place is awesome! Pretty and super clean! We felt very comfortable and we even had a chance to play the piano and sing! The host is super sweet and cheerful!

“Very pleasant stay at the Tech river, surrounded by Nature”

The setting, towering above the Tech river, close to the spa is impressive. The very friendly hosts speak both English and French fluently, the Hotel bar offers simple but delicious meals, and serves their own (excellent) beers. Great place for hikes in the surrounding mountains, Spain can be reached on foot. Rooms are simple but comfortable. Overall very good value for money. An excellent place to stay.

the hotel is very nice, located in the middle of the nature and close to Prats de Mollo (where you can find shops, pharmacies and more activities to do). It is ideal to disconnect from daily routine. Wifi works really well.

The Hotel Le Val du Tech is located at the end of a beautiful valley and a great starting point for some hiking or mountain biking in the Pyrenees. We stayed there as a family, and were offered two connecting rooms, which was highly appreciated and very convenient. Be prepared that there is no shop in the close vicinity of the hotel, so you either have to drive back to Prats-de-Mollo, or have breakfast/lunch/dinner at the hotel. We mostly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and for our hiking trips the owners even were able to prepare a lunch box that we were able to take for a day trip in the mountains. In the evening, there is a daily menu available, and for the children there was even a reduced rate. As the hotel has a limited number of rooms, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of this place, and the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the family running the hotel.
