Overview
Set ideally on the white sands of Praia do Forte Beach, all inclusive Iberostar Bahia boasts 3 pools, 6 restaurants, a sports complex and a varied entertainment program for adults and children. Rooms at Iberostar Bahia are air conditioned and feature balconies, seating areas, satellite TV and minibars. The balconies have a garden or South Atlantic Ocean views. Wellness facilities include facial and massage treatments and steam baths. Guests can work out in the fitness centre, play golf, volley ball or tennis. Children can be entertained by staff at the playground. Babysitting services are provided for an extra fee. Bahia Iberostar offers 6 different restaurants from Asian food to the typical Bahian dishes such as Moqueca. There are 4 bars serving national and international cocktails and wines. Bahia Iberostar also has a boîte. The resort is situated just 9 km from both Tamar Project, Vila da Praia do Forte and Baleia Jubart Institute and 57 km from Salvador's Airport. Free private parking is available.

The beach location is very beautiful, but it was missing proper cleaning and enough bins, especially in the afternoons, which was disappointing. The pool area was great and well designed, and we did enjoy some of the facilities. However, for the very high price we paid, the overall experience fell short of expectations. Service and attention to detail did not consistently match what you would expect from a resort in this price range. Overall, it’s a nice setting, but not good value for money considering the cost.

“Fantastic place to relax with the family”
Fantastic Resort. Great food in all the restaurants we tried, including the main one. Very family and kid friendly with several well equipped spaces to play and the Star Camp option for older kids. The Baby Room facilities were spectacular, including the daily prepared meals that our baby daughter loved. The entertainment team at the pool was a lot of fun. Staff was nice and helpful all around. Lots of activities for adults available. Gym facilities were excellent.

The property and grounds are stunning. The sea is rough but the beach is lovely and a beautiful example of nature preservation. The staff is truly lovely and will do everything possible to help and please the guests.

There are many things to do and 5 diff restaurants that you can eat. One is available all the time and the other 4 needs reservation based on how many days you booked. The pool is amazing, water is just at the right temperature. Awesome drinks and food.

“Great hotel, but not for European people”
Very nice hotel. Most stuff were very friendly and helpful. Great food in main restaurant. Inflated playground in the swimming pool. Very warm water in swimming pool. Animals living in hotel area. Good quality drinks and cocktails. Water in glass bottles for refilling.

“What a wonderful get away - totally relaxing and fabulous.”
The gym was like a commercial gym - fabulous. It truly was all inclusive- no exceptions, no forms to complete, no hidden charges. Pool’s awesome. Friendliness of staff - super lovely and they had fun at work which was lovely to see. WiFi was amazing!

“New Years in Praia du Forte-Bahia Brazil”
The beach front hotel room was very good, quiet and far from the pools. The room was air conditioned and included a fan. A bit far from the lobby, but this was expected considering the size of the Resort. The beach is pristine, the ocean water warm and the waves wonderful for surfing or just playing with. The Prestige Area is where we spent most of our time, it is well worth the extra cost, service and drinks are top notch. The Dinner Reservation Restaurants are all worth mentioning, very good food and service.
