The place is situated on Praia Japariz, which makes it an escape from the disappointing, tourist-filled Abbrao, but it also makes it a bit more difficult to get there and to move around the island from there. The owner is very sweet and offered us (along with other guests) a full-day boat trip for a fee.

“Nice room but difficult location”
The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was quite nice and generous. The Pousada is close to the beach and there are beautiful hikes nearby.
