“Has a lot of potential but felt short”

The private pier is very handy and we were lucky to be dropped off by a boat tour. It felt really cool and different. We really liked to have easy access to the beaches around by kayaking from the property pier (kayak and snorkling rental equipment for an extra fee). The cake and coffee for afternoon tea was a nice gesture!

The Pousada was located excellently in the bay with an easy walk to the main beach. The food was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.

“A short stay in a little piece of paradise”

The location was perfect, right at the water’s edge and surrounded by nature. There were several restaurants within a 10 minute walk and a lovely beach just 5 mins away. Sonia was extremely friendly and helpful. No English is spoken by the staff but we still managed to communicate.

Sonia and the rest of the team were wonderful! They were so helpful and kind and accommodating. The location is perfect! So peaceful and beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely go back again!

“Beautiful setting and friendly staff but regular lack of power”

The outside/pontoon area is wonderful to relax on, with plenty of seated and shaded options. We liked being able to swim off the pontoon, and also went out in the kayak one afternoon. It’s a short and easy walk to the two nearby beaches, as well as to restaurants and the mini markets. The lunches and dinners at the Pousada are very good, although breakfast could be improved. Our bedroom was comfortable (including the bed) and we enjoyed having the hammock on the balcony. It was convenient being able to be picked up and dropped off from the Pousada’s pontoon. The staff were very friendly and made an effort with us even though there was a language barrier.

Beautiful location, we loved looking in the direction of Lagoa Verde. The pousada has a very relaxing feel Staff were very lovely and helpful Delicious breakfast with a view, we also thoroughly enjoyed lunch there Cleaning every 2 days

“The room with a view was magical”

Location and the warm and caring host were outstanding. Seafood prepared by the chef who arrived second evening was tasty and plenty. Pousada Cruzoe is well managed and deserves our comeback, probably next time in mid season and not winter or high season summer.

Fantastic location, Sonia and team were very nice and helpful. She organised a boat tour for us (good price!) which picked us up from the hotel's pier. The snorkelling off the pier is fantastic. Room was basic but it suited our needs.

the owner and all hotel staff were AMAZING. they were extremely attentive, and would try to make just about everything work. some of the kindest people ive ever met. the food and drinks are also pretty good.

“Awesome place to relax and get your batteries recharged”

The location is perfect if you’re looking for some place to relax. The staff was amazing and even though we had a language barrier (they don’t speak English, we don’t speak Portuguese) they made our stay really pleasant. The breakfast was really good and also the food they served in the restaurant! The common areas are super nice and big enough for all guests to find a nice spot to relax during the day. There are many options such as restaurants and mini markets in walking distance, and also the area around is very nice for a stroll. We rented a kayak for one day, which was round about 50€ but at the end totally worth it as it’s easy to even go far. If you’re okay with a simple standard regarding the rooms it’s a very good place to stay on the island.

Quiet Pousada in paradise, perfect to relax at the private Pier and watch sea turtles (if you are lucky) Sonia is really friendly, helpfull and makes amazing Caipirinhas.
