Aracatiba is THE best place to base yourself in Ilha Grande. It’s a tropical paradise - no cars, friendly locals, plenty of food options, and lovely beaches and walks. Pousada Convés is an excellent location with fish and turtles swimming around the jetty. Our ferry transfer from Angra dos Reis dropped us to the jetty directly. The staff looked after us well despite our lack of the local language. Thanks for everything!

Everything was perfect about it. The location is amazing - great food, comfortable beds and good amenities. Swimming in front provides an incredible experience seeing so many different fishes, turtles and even mantas sometimes. I would like to thank Jasmin and Joao specifically for helping out with everything, their kindness and great service!

Loved everything about it! All the staff were super helpful and extremely friendly, the food was amazing (breakfast and restaurant) plus having the experience to have breakfast or dinner with the best view from the main desk was 1000/10. The room was very well equipped, with aircon and a very clean and modern bathroom. They provide bath and beach towels 👌 We didn't have a view from the bedroom but that wasn't necessary because we would spend every full day out exploring the island 🤩 The location was great too (short walk through the trail to main Araçatiba beach to one side and Araçatibinha beach to the other side). Plus, the Pousada rents kayaks, snorkelling masks and SUPs at convenient prices, all of very good quality 👌 The flexiboat from Angra dos Reis and the boat tours around the island can pick up and drop directly from Pousada Convés 💯 Thank you to Pedro, Joao, Roberto, and everyone else who made our experience the best one 😄 would definitely come back! “Great stay!”

Excellent restaurant, staff were very friendly, lovely part of the island, clean and tidy! Jetty great for swimming off of, great spot for snorkelling! Staff were flexible with our check out time which was great for our boat transfer!

the best place i stayed in brazil! what a lovely little spot. the staff are amazing - so friendly and kind and helpful with very clean and comfortable rooms. Great showers, bed is very nice to sleep on. food is also very good too - breakfast you order ahead so its less wastage which is very good to see and the food menu for their restaurant is good too, lots of nice fish and seafood dishes. i enjoyed lying on a lounger on the deck and watching all the fishies and hearing the water in the morning. i was SO sad to leave. the water was much cleaner than in Abraao and there are nice beaches and boat trips to be done here.

The whole team was so friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. Our stay could not have been better, they gave us tips on tours and places to visit. The place itself is spectacular with a beautiful peer and beautiful nature (with lots of fishes and seaturtles nearby). The room was comfy and the food (we ate breakfast and dinner there) was very good. Thanks for the nice holiday. :)

The location over looking the sea. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. The outstanding taste and presentation of the food. The property owner and staff, who looked after our every needs. I would highly recommend this property. It is sensational.

“Peaceful and beautiful setting”

Beautiful views from the resturant and dock Room was very clean Lovely dog and cat. Staff couldn't do enough to help, service was great ( despite the language difficulties) Breakfast was great delivered to the table and plenty of options. We were lucky with amazing weather and because its winter we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
