We had a great stay at Casa Caiçara in Ilha Grande. The rooms are a good size, very clean, and we really appreciated having a balcony to relax on. The small decorative touches throughout the space added a lot of charm and made it feel personal and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. A special thank you to Magno, who was lovely and helped us plan our days on the island, organise a boat tour, and even suggested some great hikes. Breakfast each morning was great and a perfect way to start the day. On top of that, the views from the rooms were beautiful. We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back!

“Amazing hotel in one of the best locations in the world”
The hotel (pousada) was just perfect! I think this was literally the best place I stayed in the past 10 years. It is located at the best part of Ilha Grande, relatively deserted, with amazing beach, hiking and snorkeling spots. Ideal for those seeking to stay close to the nature. The rooms are decorated in a very stylish and carefully thought way. Most of them feature a balcony overlooking the beach where it's super cool to enjoy sea view while drinking wine. The owner Julio is super-kind. He offers a breakfast with local fruits he grows himself. I would say, it was best bananas of my life, and best papaya as well. It just can't be better!

Location is perfect, no more than a one minute walk from your room to the waters edge. View from the rooms is exactly as pictured. Rooms are well sized, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great!

“Cozy and lovely. I had a great stay.”
Everything went smoothly, the host was very kind and helpful. Regardless of the bad weather we got for three days, the pousada was well attended. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The place was always tidy, clean and really comfortable. You can tell that its tenant is taking great care of the house and garden, it’s really a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it and I might come back myself.

Everything was perfect. We loved the pousssada, and the place was amazing. The owner was able to give instructions for a few hikes as well, and it made the whole experience perfectly 👌
