“A charming central hotel, great for a short family stay”

Miss Sophie's Charles Bridge is a charming hotel in the centre of Prague. It is conveniently located if you want to explore this lively, touristy area. You have plenty of restaurants, a bakery, and even a McDonald's just a step outside the door (very useful when you arrive late with tired kids). The hotel is an old building with a real sense of charm. It is clean, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The couple at the reception speak English, Spanish, and Czech, which I think is great. The rooms are spacious, each with its own kitchenette and a generous, thoughtful basket of treats that made the kids very happy. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was good, with a decent choice, and the kids enjoyed the buffet (especially being able to eat as many pancakes as they wanted). For us it was perfect for a one-night stay, though perhaps less suited to a longer one. I also liked the small touch of a poster listing free activities nearby. Definitely a good choice for a family or a group of friends.

We felt at home! A wonderful hotel in the city centre, very near Charles Bridge, yet it still felt so cozy. From the window, you have a beautiful view of the houses of Prague and a Baroque church. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The breakfast concept is outstanding - collecting the food from the corridor and enjoying it in your room. The room is like a little flat, with everything you could possibly need. We didn’t want to leave and our experience at this hotel was unforgettable! Thank you very much!

The accommodation was perfect. Everything was very good. The only problem was a lady that on the last day by checkout had a very, very unfriendly behavior with us. She had a name she had an Arabic name. I don’t exactly remember something like Nora or NWRA something like that with a covering on the hair(Hijab), she her behavior was really really really unfriendly and if she hadn’t been there, the accommodation would’ve been very good, but she ruined the whole experience. Her behavior by checkout was very bad, unfriendly and unprofessional.

It was so hoot to stay here, very comfortable, beautiful and peaceful place. Recommend to stay

Convenient location – everything is within walking distance. Breakfast was lovely and served in the hallway, which was very convenient, because you can go back to your room wearing the hotel bathrobe and slippers and enjoy your meal there. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary dishes and utensils. Bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries are also provided. Friendly and helpful staff! Perfect location. Amazing room, absolutely loved it. So spacious, breakfast had lots of great choices. The room was great, lovely view. My favourite thing was to open the windows wide in the morning and sit with my cup of tea in the morning sun looking out over Prague!

Location could not be better you had St Charles Bridge stone throw away which was ideal if you wanted to get up at 6 am and have the bridge to yourself. Local blue bar was very close so you can skip home post a few cocktails.
