“Cosy country house with a sprinkle of opulence,”

The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Feels very homey and welcoming. The accommodation area upstairs has a huge lounge and kitchenette and the bedrooms are a generous size. The heating had been put on prior to our arriving on a cold rainy day. The breakfast was true opulence and delicious. Christian is an exceptional host. Lovely to speak with and we never wanted for anything. Will hopefully be back!

We had such an amazing stay! The place is absolutely beautiful – full of charm and decorated with so much style and care. You can really tell the owner has a background in antiques; every detail feels thoughtfully chosen and tells its own little story. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the host. So warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind – we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. And the breakfast? Incredible. Everything was prepared with love, beautifully presented, and tailored to our needs (we’re vegetarian), which we really appreciated. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more. A perfect mix of elegance, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommend!

The bright white farm house, dating back a century, is beautifully decorated with a collection of fine antiques and carefully selected pieces of art. The owner, Christian, is a considerate host who cares about his guests. The scenic countryside and the nearby charming little Præstø make Jungshovedgaard an ideal destination for short getaways.
