Overview
Located at the foot of the ski slopes in Pra-Loup ski resort, Marmotel is only a 20-minute drive from Barcelonnette. For an extra charge, guests can enjoy the sauna, jacuzzi, solarium and herbal tea room at the onsite spa. Paid parking is available to customers subject to availability and it is also available for free during the summer. A flat-screen TV and free WiFi access are provided in the guest rooms. Some of the rooms offer a balcony or terrace with views of the slopes. A hairdryer and complimentary welcome toiletries are supplied. Breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant at this hotel. You can enjoy a drink from the bar while relaxing beside the open fire or on the panoramic terrace. Leisure activities in the area include hiking and skiing.

Just a quick note for the above question, which lift did we use the most - none of the lifts mentioned are from the base of the resort. The hotel is by the Costebelle Lift, so this was the lift we used the most. You can ski from the door of the hotel and back with ease, the joy of this hotel. We have been visiting for the last 10 years. The staff change each year so no memory of our visits, but the staff are always helpful and nice. It has grown in popularity especially with families with young children.
