Overview
Set at an altitude of 1320 metres, Hotel Garni San Nicolò is just 20 metres from the Buffaure ski area in Pozza Di Fassa. It offers free bike rental in summer and a year-round wellness centre. Rooms have a rustic mountain design with wooden furniture and balconies with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. They all offer free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV with satellite channels. A vast buffet of sweet and savoury items is served each morning. San Nicolò offers a selection of homemade cakes, cold meats, cheese and eggs. Organic and sugar-free food are also available. The snack bar serves sandwiches, bruschetta, polenta and other snacks throughout the day. Its terrace offers beautiful mountain views. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at the Ta Mongo restaurant, serving traditional specialities. Wellness facilities include a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, hot tub and relaxation room. Skis are available to rent on site and free parking is provided. Guests can access the Sellaronda Ski Circuit 20 metres away, at the Alba di Canazei - Col dei Rossi Cable Car.

Overall, we had a good experience. The location is good, but it is next to lift 201 and not 130, as stated in the Booking description. The room size is excellent—spacious, clean, and well-organized. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even allowed us to stay until 4 pm on the day of departure, which was greatly appreciated. One downside for me was the mattress on the pull-out sofa, where I slept. It wasn’t very comfortable. The hotel has a very nice restaurant, and we ended up dining there almost every day. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially if the mattress on the pull-out sofa could be improved.

“EXCELLENT choice”

Lovely place, nice decorations, great restaurant, staff is soooo friendly and helpful. Location just 50 metres from the ski lift. We liked everything and I'm looking forward to come back for the next ski holidays again
