Each spacious suite has its own fully furnished separate bedroom(s), full kitchens, full 3 piece bathrooms, designated living room, defined dining room, and covered deck space with patio furniture. Guests at Higgin's Inn Powell River are near hiking and biking trails as well as boat tours. Horseback riding, swimming, and rock climbing are just a few area activities possible. Powell River also has some amazing alpine within a morning's reach, sufficiently technical for the experienced mountaineer. We were upgraded to the Penthouse suite, which was amazing! However, all the suites are beautiful, comfy, spacious, and homey. Hosts were welcoming and a pleasure to meet. Lovely walk to the beach with beautiful round rocks. Short drive to Powell River. However, we ordered in our dinners as location was so wonderful! Salt and Pepper Pizza place, delicious! We sure could have stayed longer!

“A cozy, clean and family friendly place to stay that my kids really want to go back to!”
The hosts were very friendly and committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The kids had a blast jumping on the trampoline, eating berries from the garden and playing with some toy cars the owner shared with us. We were able to do some laundry and enjoy all our meals outside on the sunny deck. The beach was a short walk away and was really nice, very warm and sandy when they tide comes in (it's a bit like quick sand when the tide is going out). A great get away for families!

Beautiful setting and very close to a fabulous beach. It is a wonderful place for children with a trampoline, hidden gems in the yard for the little ones and a great fish pond.

“Just fantastic.”
Great stay for our family of 7, 3 generations, in the top 3 bedroom suite. Fully equipped kitchen, large rooms, beautiful deck over looking the ocean. We loved the hanging king size bed/day bed on the deck, and we stay in it for hours reading/web surfing listing to the ocean waves. 1 block away from a fantastic beach with large stretch of sand during low tide. Great swimming spot. Mr. Higgins / Rob is warm, courteous, goes out of his way to accommodate us. Our youngest enjoyed playing with the dog and feeding the fish and cats. Laundry on site can be used by guests. This is our second year. Love this inn for our family.
