Accomodation is located near Kostolecká and Manínska Tiesňava, so short walks or hiking is possible without necessity to drive somewhere. If you’d like to visit Súľovské vrchy then it is probably wise to go by car (it’s not far but it will give you more time to spend on hiking). Accomodation is also dog friendly :) Breakfast was well prepared and food was tasty. Staff offered tea or coffee. Food in restaurant was also okay. Beer was well drafted.

Wonderful hosts. Wonderful accomodation. Very clean and big rooms with view on the green hills. The canyon is worth to walk. In the restaurant of Penzion Manin we tasted delicious local foods. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. ( The history of the place itself touched us deeply as well as it used to be a school beginning of the 20th century )

“Nice quiet stay in the middle of the mountains”

Amazing location in the heart of the Tatras mountains with great roads and scenery to arrive to the accommodation. The room was spacious and clean, it was very convenient to have available parking to leave our motorcycles just there. The hotel is a big wooden house which is in great condition and has very nice decoration.

Very, very kind stuff who makes you feel like at home. The rooms are comfortable, food is great and the nature around is amazing. Who likes quiet, medows, forest and hiking will be trully happy here. As we are and therefore coming back.

Simple but cozy and clean with friendly staff in a beautiful setting. Rooms are air conditioned. Restaurant offers lots of traditional dishes; “strapačky” - dumplings with sauerkraut and bacon was our favourite. Breakfast, continental style, was very generous, needs to be ordered the night before. Lots of hiking and cycling in the area.

Situated in a wonderful location, in a mountain region, in a quiet village. the pension is a well built chalet, all in wood, well insulated against noise, temperature changing. The host is nice and ready to help. Free parking and Internet, possibility to have breakfast and probably lunch and dinner.

“Very pleasant stay in cozy room”

The hotel is located in the building of an old school and looks good. The room was easy to access, big enough and very pleasantly furnished, with books on the shelves which created a homelike atmosphere. Big windows with an amazing view of a nearby rocky mountain could be open to aerate the room. A small fridge in the room as well as a smart TV with Netflix were a nice surprise. The beds were really comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Dogs are allowed.

In the last minute, me & my boyfriend, we've decided to go for a weekend away somewhere close to Maninska tiesnava and based on the review's on the booking.com we've decided to stay in Penzion Manin. We booked the last room available, we were so lucky as it was best choice. Staff was amazing, room was nice & clean and food was very tasty and location perfect! :) You will love this unique place :) We definitely recommend this place.
