Basic and affordable rooms not very far from Puy Du Fou. The breakfast was good and the bar / restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I recommend taking a stroll through the cozy little town as well.

“Just Okay but Not Value for Your Money”
There is a restaurant attached as there were not a lot of choices for restaurants the weekend we were there. They also welcomed my dog and that’s important.

“Escale confortable”
We were in the area to visit friends, and Pouzauges was a good location for that and for going to the Puy du Fou. We liked the fact that the Boule d'Or was not in a chain and had history (our friends knew it from schooldays). The restaurant was very good, though shut on 3 out of our 4 evenings there so we were only able to eat there once. Breakfast was good.

in the centre of the village, free parking opposite, good breakfast options (they found me some suitable extras as I’m gluten free), friendly staff

“Great staff / owners and very helpful, arrived a day late and allowed to stay with no extra charge!”
Great stay, very helpful and friendly staff, managed to let us stay even though I had booked the wrong day and arrived a day after I should have! Very kindly didn't charge us more than we had already paid and were understanding ;-)
