The location is great, right in the heart of Porvoo by the river. The rooms were good, but they were very hot in the heat wave. The shared bathroom is okay but the queue for a shower could be long. Putting a shower in the upstairs bathroom would make a big difference

Beautiful, historic buildings right by the river. We had an apartment with views to the inner courtyard, it was a really lovely and spacious place. Comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful.

“My kids wanted to move in 😅 Despite the logistics, it was like stepping into a dream.”
The place has been renovated to accommodate modern needs without losing the feel of the history of the place. We were lucky enough to have a morning chat with the owner, and were made to feel very welcome.

“I enjoyed my stay and will choose this guest house again if I re visit Porvoo”
Old Town B&B Ida-Maria is a converted red warehouse. As soon as you enter the door of the B&B, you can see the river view. Although my room is not a river view room, it is very comfortable and clean. It is very comfortable to live alone. Although the toilet and bathroom are shared, But very clean. The owner is very friendly and offers a variety of choices for breakfast.
