Exceptional views and location, very nice host.

“Unique location with an outstanding host”

What an incredible location and brilliant host in Andrea. It really is the best view on the coast looking back at Portovenere. We could have stayed a week just soaking up the location. Rooms were as advertised and breakfast was great. Perfect for us after a swim in the sea right outside the property. Andrea could not have been more helpful including a boat ride back to the island after a wonderful dinner.

Location of the house of pescatore is strategically placed on beach with direct view to San Pietro and old city Porto Venere. From the port to house you will go app. 3 minutes. House is situated on terrace above the sea. All around are beautiful trees and flowers. Something like excursion to botanical garden.

Andreas was the most amazing host . He went out of his way to help and advise us. Very kind and helpful. The accommodation is in such a special location , so quiet with the most amazing views . A hidden gem ! He has friendly goats visiting so you are surrounded with nature . The views of Portovenere from the terrace where you have breakfast are outstanding. If you are very lucky you can stay here 🍀

“Wonderful place to stay.”

Wonderful place to stay. We thought we had booked a room in the town of Portovenere, but it turned out to be on the island of Palmaria. It's rare to be so happy about a booking mistake. Getting to the island is quick and inexpensive—much easier than staying at the entrance of the town. The host, Andrea, is very helpful and welcoming, and he serves a lovely breakfast on the terrace with a view over all of Portovenere. One of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed at in Italy, and we look forward to coming back.

Andrea is a great host. Thanks to him, our trip was better. He is always ready to help. I've never eaten breakfast in better surroundings. Close to the place are beaches and lovely wild goats. It was a perfect stay!

“Perfect getaway with perfect host!”

There are many things that made my stay at La Casa Del Pescatore perfect, but two things made it unforgettable: 1. Andrea is such a kind soul and makes sure you have everything you need when staying at the B&B. He's very friendly, easygoing and remembers small things like for example that I like a second espresso after my breakfast. The place is perfect, but even it if it wasn't, I would go back for his hospitality alone. Grazie Andrea! 2. The location is amazing, the view of Portovenere cannot be matched by any other hotel or B&B. The room was tidy and also had a view of the sea. You have your breakfast (which was also delicious with fresh fruit, freshly pressed orange juice and other delicacies) on a terrace with the sun and seawind on your face. I took a book with me but didn't read a letter because I was enjoying the view that much. You can walk to the beach in.. well like seconds. The ferry to the island was a bit unclear for me, but Andrea helped me after I contacted him and for the return trip he even offered to bring me with his own boat to Portovenere. So that was resolved very quickly! If you are contemplating going to this B&B I would very much recommend it! If the B&B is fully booked according to the website, you can contact him and try because it's possible he still has something available!
