Everything, the host was so kind and helpful as a solo traveler, the room, facilities and views were amazing. I had such a wonderful time here and couldn’t rate it high enough. One of the highlights of my trip 🙌🥰

Very friendly and helpful. Warm service throughout stay. Comfortable with balcony views. Nothing was too much trouble. Can't find any faults. Luxurious and stylish fittings. Food quality at breakfast great. They even kept our luggage for 2 hours before we had to leave for our car

“Perfect and absolute recommendation!”

11/10 – A truly unforgettable stay! We stayed in the beautiful La Gatta Suite, and everything about it was perfect. The suite was just steps from the sea, where we could go straight into the water for a swim. It was spotless, spacious, and so thoughtfully prepared, with comfortable bedding. Our private balcony quickly became our favorite spot — the perfect place to soak in the morning sun, watch the world go by, and still enjoy complete peace and privacy. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices! We also loved the little touches, like fresh bottles of water waiting in the room daily. What made the stay truly special, though, were the people — so warm, welcoming, and kind, they made us feel completely at home. We loved every single moment of our time here and are already dreaming of coming back!

Perfect breakfast

It was comfortable, well located and well equipped. It’s a small town and the location of the property was perfect. No complaints. Best part was the small sit out with a beautiful view of the sea.

We had a wonderful week at Ca’amae! Best located, really clean, cosy accomodation with a great view. Gianluca and the whole staff is super frendly! Ca’amae has the best cafe and the best pizza in the town. Portovenere is so cute and sleepy in March. We loved it.

We loved everything in Portovenere.. Our mini apart was lovely with perfect view. Breakfast with lots of cafe latte & croissants & foccacios.. As expected in Italy.. Although it was out of season and several restaurants were closed we had perfect diners and lunch.. Promenade on the sea side was wonderful... Foccaceria something to come back.. Fresh fish seller, woman, was noted..

“Perfect!”

Perfect location with direct access to ferries to 5 Terre. Breakfast was “whatever you wanted”, eggs, focaccia sandwiches, fruit, brioche-all freshly prepared and delivered with super friendly staff led by Luca, the owner. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. They treated us like family. Upon leaving, Luca carted our luggage straight to our parking garage. Who does this? They do. Highly recommend stay here and ask for a balcony that overlooks the northern end of the gulf of poets.

“Great Family time at Portovenere Ca Amae”

Location of Ca Amae is stellar. Right in front of the marina in Portovenere, exactly in the direction where the terrace of our room was looking to, enjoying a drink from the terrace with the view was a must. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We wanted to explore some dining options in town, and we actually decided to always have dinner with them in the restaurant downstairs because how nice they were with us during all our stay. We did enjoy late evenings watching Euro Cup games, enjoying great wine from different Ligure wine makers, talking with the hotel staff, enjoying their food, etc. Also, having Portovenere as base to go around Cinque Terre was a great idea, not to crowded (specially evenings), you are able to take the boat just 2min walk from the Hotel!, In summary, a fantastic experience, one of the most welcoming staff I've ever met, for sure we'll try to come back again!

Location was perfect, really beautiful place and views. You are in the best place of Porto Venere right next to all sightseeing and top restaurants and boat rental / cruises to Cinque Terre. Room is beautiful, well designed, comfortable. Welcome drink is offered in their restaurant, good food too.

“Perfect stay”

Amazing apartment. Beautiful terrace with great views over sea and harbour. You can sit forever and drink aperitif. Well designed and appointed. Great for exploring Cinque Terre and Portofino. Old world Italy feeling with tremendous hospitality from Luca , Alesandro and the girls!! Portovenere a very charming town. 10 out of 10!
