A beautiful BandB at the top of a hill overlooking Portobello with a large window with sea views and also of the garden where we saw a lot of Tui (birds). Nice welcome from Brenda who showed us where everything was. Very easy parking and garden seating area, unfortunately too cold to enjoy. It was an easy walk down to the pub for dinner. The continental breakfast supplied in the room was good.

Lovely B&B in a wonderful secluded spot, yet only a short walk into Portobello. There are great views of the estuary, and of the lovely garden, from the room. Watching all the birds whilst enjoying the excellent breakfast is wonderful.

“A delightful place off Dunedin set in the stunning location”

Everything! Fabulous location overlooking the water and surrounded by the beautiful trees and bushes which are frequented by the famous NZ Tui bird. It was a delightful experience to enjoy an early morning cup of tea watching the birds and rolling clouds over the misty mountain range. Located in the stunning Portobello peninsula, the accommodation offered everything a guest could reasonably expect from a B&B. Spending time there was magical. The peninsula is breathtakingly gorgeous. We thoroughly recommend this gem of place in the beautiful area of Otago peninsula. The hosts were charming, friendly and welcoming.

Lovely to meet Brenda and Wayne ( in the "chippy" ), great location for doing albatross and penguin tour. Super vista for breakfast. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and great shower. Would recommend to friends and family.

Self-contained accommodation with your own private access and outside seating area. Views of the bay too. The hostess also had excellent local knowledge about seeing the albatross nearby - without that, we wouldn't have seen them flying. Thankyou!
