Such a perfect stay! The view is out of this world, it was exceptionally comfortable (the best night's sleep I've had for ages) and the breakfast was so delicious. Can't recommend Captain Eady's Lookout and Anna's hospitality enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Best breakfast I have ever been offered. Most ingredients from local Farmers Market. Carefully cooked and beautifully presented. The house is traditional but with high quality modern features. The furniture and fabrics are gorgeous.

What a beautiful, charming property which was pristine clean. We had the en-suite room upstairs with the magnificent views of Otago Bay. The room was beautiful ,bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom, tea / coffee , and lovely Whitaker’s chocolate. Our lovely host Anna had thought of everything that we would need down to a hairbrush to go with the hairdryer. We also had use of a small and cosy lounge which had a Tv, fridge and tea/coffee facilities . For breakfast we had a selection of cereal/ fresh fruit / cheese, bread toast and eggs. Anna went out of her way to bake a gluten free pastry to meet my dietary requirements for breakfast which was absolutely delicious. Great location to visit Lanark Castle / The Royal Albatross Centre and If you want to see Sea Lions in their natural habitat take a walk on Allan’s beach. I would highly recommend staying here , you won’t want to leave ….fantastic host

The accommodation exceeded our expectations, the room is very spacious, everything was clean and tidy, the facilities are absolutely adequate. It is located directly on the lake, you have a wonderful view over the lake. The restaurants are about 3 minutes away by car. Ana is a lovely hostess, she made a very good breakfast and fulfilled all our wishes. This accommodation is highly recommended, a big big thank you to Ana

Excellent bed and breakfast. We stayed for one night to visit the Royal Albatross centre. It is perfectly located towards the peninsula outside Dunedin. Glorious views. The garden of the property is lovely with lots of birdlife and the outdoor seating area of the room was a real treat. The room itself was very spacious and had a great night sleep. Breakfast was excellent, a lovely combination of fresh fruits, cereals and cooked options, all freshly prepared by the host -who was very welcoming and always happy to help.

The breakfast was delicious and the host Anna is delightful .It’s also a quick walk down to the port to port wildlife cruise.There’s a wide variety of movies you can watch, we would 100 percent recommend it.

Overall, everything was great; however, we noticed a dusty smell from the bedsheet, which unfortunately made it difficult for us to sleep until 4 a.m. On a positive note, the host was very kind, and the breakfast was excellent, complemented by a stunning view.
