The Hotel has a very nice Vibe, Spirit and is very good located! Our Room was on the 4th floor and we had an amazing view to the Port. The Cleaning Service was top. From the first Hi at the Reception, till Goodbye we had a very warm and friendly welcome. We had a special time because of the people who worked at the Hotel! They are so lovely and made our stay to the best Trip. We want to mention Mimi and Fadoua, who are so lovely at the Reception and helped us always with whatever we needed. Always with a smile, also Hassan and Moustafa, Pedro, Ismael, Nicki, Beti, Carmu, Stefan and all the great people working at the Service and Kitchen were so beautiful, lovely and they give the Hotel this very nice and lovely spirit! Beautiful pool area and hotel design decor. Breakfast had an excellent choice of food. Room was always cleaned to perfection! The staff and receptionists were so welcoming and kind. Wonderful atmosphere!

“A good relaxing stay”

The hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and there was just the right number of guests to make it feel busy but not crowded. We had an issue with our room and they quickly sorted it for us and upgraded us at no extra charge. It made the holiday - thank you. The best bit for me was being able to go swimming at 7.30am with no one around. It was bliss.

Staff & location

We loved our stay at hotel ankaa. The welcome from check in was lovely with a glass of fizz or orange juice offered on arrival. The room was on the small side but was very comfortable and the shower was great. We enjoyed having a balcony although we wish we'd got one on the other side of the hotel to have a nicer outlook than on to the carpark! The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices each day, hot and cold options available with a station making fresh omelettes, eggs and pancakes each day as well as the buffet style offering each day. The pool area was amazing, there were plenty of sun loungers and parasols to go amongst everyone and there was the option of the Bali beds up top. There was a ping pong table outside as well which was great. There is a poolside bar however it was a bit of a hit or a miss with food, we loved it our first day and thought it would make a good lunch option rather than taking the fairly long walk to the front to a restaurant. However the second day, we were very disappointed with our food and neither of us ate it in the end - it is also really quite expensive ($6 for a sprite). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back again!
