Amazing location on the private beach! Vila perfect! Loved the snorkelling and kayaking provided.Transport arranged by the Vila for Arthur to pick up from the airport and collect groceries on the way due to known isolated location. Also transport to dinner at Wahoo new restaurant & bar about 15 mins drive was very nice! Hosts beautiful and very helpful, built us a fire on the beach! We also used the BBQ facility. Day trip to Top Rock could not snorkel due to wind and unsafe. Check weather before going or not worth it! Or maybe go very early in the day.

Although Whispering Palms property presents wonderful is in a stunning location, some of the basic items were lacking in the kitchen, such as spray wipe. paper towel, aluminium foil.even toilet paper. The hot water system unit is on its way out as we only had hot water half the time which meant we had a lot of cold showers.

“Remote beach location”

Literally on the beach, being able to snorkel just steps away was super fun! It was extremely quiet and relaxed. We would not have wanted to stay in port villa itself and are glad we stayed here. All the staff were super helpful and incredibly responsive even over booking.com message and email. The accomodation was clean and well provided for, with snorkelling gear to use as well.

“A nice retreat on the beach, plagued by various maintenance issues ruining the experience”

- The staff were nice and welcoming. We didn't meet the owners, though. - The location is very isolated with virtually nothing around, perfect if you're looking for a retreat and terrible if you like to go out. You have to get your own food before you get there. Beware if you don't have a car! - You're right on the beach, it's hard to beat - Only 3 rooms on the compound, and neighbours are locals. We only have 1 other room occupied while there, so it was peaceful, quiet and private - All the snorkelling equipment you need is provided and readily available, and there's an outside shower for rincing - The reef in front of the room is good and makes for great snorkelling sessions - The property grounds were lovely and well-maintained

“Absolute Bliss. A gorgeous villa in an idyllic location”

A gorgeous villa in an idyllic location. The views are amazing. Great snorkelling and swimming right from the villa. Kayaks and paddle boarding if you're energetic. We stayed 10 nights and could have stayed longer. It was so relaxing. Staff wonderful, so friendly and nothing is a problem. The villages are very friendly - they'll chat if you want, or leave you alone if you want. Villa has everything you need - oven, fridge/freezer, all utensils etc. Just remember to bring all your food and drink from Port Villa, although the bus is easy to catch to town if needed or small local shop nearby.

The location of the villa is exceptional as it’s beachfront with your own private beach, the garden is lush and green and the location is calm, quiet and away from the hustle, bustle and crowds of Port Vila.

The location was out of the hustle and bustle which we loved, but it is very remote and there really is nothing nearby. The owners say that there are places or delivery available but that is simply not the case.

The view from the house. Getting a boat directly from our beachfront to Pele Island. Snorkeling right out front. Go beautiful. I think it is fabulous way to see the top end of Efate - stay at Whispering Palms for a night or 2 instead of trying to do it all in 1 day and driving back to Port Vila.
