“Wonderful stay”

Lovelly house, spotlessly clean, good location, Rose is a wonderful host. Super comfy bed and wonderful sheets. The property is a short stroll to the centre of town alongside a river where the salmon were running - amazing!

Charming, friendly, and attentive host. Delicious home-cooked breakfast. All the amenities we needed were provided. A short walk from the town centre. The Jacuzzi bath was a nice addition. Very comfortable bed. Lovely garden with a porch to sit on.

Stayed at this beautiful B&B. Rest and relaxation in beautiful surroundings. Private and tucked away. Separate entrance and secluded grounds to enjoy breakfast or morning coffee. Beautiful B and B in lovely historic town of Port Hope . it’s an exceptional place to stay with gorgeous decor, huge comfy bed and amazing breakfast . Rose is warm, welcoming and friendly . She had created a wonderful place to stay with incredible attention to detail . The decor is so pretty and did I mention the exceptional breakfast? it’s not a cheap place to stay but it is a cut above the usual B and B’s we have stayed at .

Rose was a delightful and welcoming host. The room was extremely clean. The place is situated just a few minutes walk from everywhere you'd want to be in Port Hope. The breakfast was gourmet and delicious and Rose was able to accommodate our vegan and vegetarian diets.

The bed was luxurious with fresh, white linen linens. I felt I was sleeping in a cloud. So comfortable. The bathroom was meticulously fresh, clean and bright with a very large spa tub for totally relaxing. The breakfast was elegantly set out and absolutely fresh and delicious. The property is set back into a private drive, surrounded by trees and the sound of birds and the rushing of water from the local river. Coffee before breakfast on the back veranda was so peaceful. Rose, the owner is absolutely delightful with her insights and dedication to local shops and restaurants. She lives the comfort she shares with her guest; gracious and carrying without intruding We look forward to making our reservation for next year and the year after. Beautiful stay at the Plantation House!
