Overview
Located on North Vancouver Island, Kwa'lilas Hotel is less than 10 minutes' walk from the waterfront and Port Hardy city centre. It offers on-site dining and provides free WiFi in every room. Coffee-making facilities and cable TV are provided in the traditionally decorated rooms at the Kwa'lilas Hotel. A seating area is also provided. Ocean and mountain view rooms are available. A curated selection of authentic local Aboriginal art can be found throughout the hotel celebrating local traditions, stories and culture. Eco-adventure tours and cultural experiences guided by community members and local experts are offered. Port Hardy Museum and North Island College are less than 15 minutes' walk from the hotel. “Room's don't work and staff are rude”
Staff were rude and unwilling to help resolve a broken window latch, only refund and good luck finding another place on the same night. Wanted confirmation email of refund and they could not accommodate. Hotel room also is not worth the higher price tag compared with similar listings in the area after having had to cancel and find another hotel. Do your research before booking - would not recommend this hotel based on experience.

“Awesome hotel!”
Beautiful hotel with tasteful First Nations art. The hotel's pub food was excellent and the service was exemplary. The room, itself, was modern, and clean. The bed was super comfortable ensuring a solid night's sleep. One of my best stays at a hotel.

“Acceptable stay, some things could be improved”
Very comfortable beds, quiet at night, nice shower with good water pressure. The pub downstairs is also great for a drink and the staff is friendly.

Kwa'lilas Hotel offers exceptional value for money. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated, staff are extremely friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable, clean, nicely appointed, seem to be recently renovated, bathroom - luxurious and modern. We had an excellent light meal in the bar and an amazing dinner in the fine dining restaurant (one of our best dining experiences in BC).
