Stay with Marie, you won't regret it! The place was just what we needed - private, quiet, all the necessities and the most wonderful little oasis right outside the door. Outdoor kitchen and small private terrace😊 Marie is a fantastic host. She picked us up at the bus when we arrived quite late and made sure to book a taxi for our departure which was very early in the morning. The place is only a 5 minute walk from the city center with supermarkets, restaurants and whatever else your heart desires. If you are into vegetarian cuisine, try Dixon's which is just around the corner, but come before 12 noon as it is very popular🤩 If we come back to Port Antonio, we will definitely stay here again❤️ One love Jannik and Anne, Denmark

This is my favourite place to stay in Port Antonio, the room is perfect with every amenity you could need. Super clean and some lovely personal touches. Marie and family are lovely hosts. Great location and I love there are some cooking facilities too.

“Lovely stay in Port Antonio!”

I was so happy with everything here. Marie and her family is super friendly and we had nice chats. Location is safe and perfect for walking in the town area and to catch a transport. There is all you need in this modern room and for preparing meals in the outdoor kitchen. Knutsford bus terminal is around 20 minutes walking distance by foot but also route taxis are available. I would definitely stay again!

Very clean, had pretty much everything you needed and in a great location!

Maybe our favourite stay in Jamaica. I was as happy to arrive back to the room every night as I was at the resort. Super friendly owner, helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very modern. Room was provisioned with fridge and toaster oven as well, which is not typical but very welcomed! We were able to have our breakfast in the room quick so we could have full days exploring. Great location, away from the bustle but very close. Well equipped room and the outdoor cooking area was a great place to eat all our meals. Even the decor is fun, I am not an anime guy, and I don't understand the design aesthetic but it was worth a laugh. Owners pets also made appearances outside and were friendly and cute.

“Private room behind Marie's house, GREAT STAY”

Very nice room at the back of a private house with a separate entrance. Location is in a sidestreet of the main road, so walking distance to supermarket and shops, .... Marie is extremely helpful and also forwarded a local guidebook. She also arranged a taxi to bring us to Knutsford bus early in the morning and woke up to say goodbye to us ! In the room you have a kettle , fridge and toaster. Outside there is a gas stove and sitting area. Very nicely done ! Moreover, the bathroom is ecellent with very nice towels and walk in shower. Another bonus is Netflix if you would need it.

“Best place to stay in Port Antonio”

Ms Marie is one of the best hosts i've EVER encountered! Her property is the cleanest I've ever stayed at. I love the lil touches of technology, like the touch-free soap dispenser for your hands. The artwork on the wall makes it feel homely. The room consists of several things including a fridge, mini oven, desk, a bag containing beach towels, kettle, cutlery, spare towels /bedsheets, & more. The location is a walking distance to most things, or a taxi service. Ms Marie kindly dropped me off to Frenchman's cove, as it was on the route to her work. I really appreciated such a kind gesture, and I loved how she shared some history about Port Antonio, with me. She also created a list of things to see/eat which came in really handy! It rained quite a bit while I was there, so the TV which has useful apps such as Netflix & YouTube, came in very handy! Did I mention HOW CLEAN THIS PLACE IS??? Honestly, I am absolutely going to be back here soon (hopefully there will be less rain when I do!)

We had a fantastic stay at Centrally Located. Marie showed us all the facilities which included air conditioning, Flat Screen Smart TV, outdoor cooking facilities & a fully tiled bathroom. The room was spotless & the house only recently been built, so very modern. We made use of the outdoor cooking facilities which had everything we needed. Marie also gave us great advice on things to see & made us feel very welcome while also giving us plenty of space. Marie was also very communicative before we arrived answering all our questions. Thanks Marie, we really appreciated it!! I would absolutely recommend staying here. Look no further!!!

“Lovely room and host”

Rose Marie was an amazing host. She made a guide book with tips about things to see, where to eat which we appreciated a lot. The room was clean, and the little kitchen in the garden was perfect to have breakfast in the morning or a tea at night.

Nice space, super nice hosted by Marie and her lovely family. Portland is the nature parish, so there's a lot of nature to explore. The place is located very central so most of the town is basically within walking distance and route taxis will take you further out of town if needed. Would definitely recommend to book this place when you vist Portland.

“Super Homestay near the centre of Port Antonio”

A lovely self contained private room in Port Antonio hosted by Marie. The room is very comfortable with a modern bathroom and is far more impressive in reality than the photos on booking.com. It has its own rear entrance with outside cooking facilities and patio. Marie and her family were very helpful and friendly even offering us a lift to Frenchman's Cove. The room and bathroom were absolutely spotless. Very close to the main town and the transport centre (Texaco garage) Highly recommended

“Perfect stay in this cozy little room with beautiful details”

This was by far the best homestay-room we ever went to. It had everything you need and much more then we expected (AC, beautiful bathroom, fridge, TV, moskitonets etc etc.) It's 5 min walk to the city center and has everything nearby. Our Host was so friendly and helpful. For this price it was like a 4,5 star hotel room 😁

It was nice, very clean and peaceful. Plus it was within close proximity to the Town Center and Hip Strip which was very convenient. Marie was an excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed and had a comfortable stay. We also like the outdoor cooking area so we were able to make breakfast in the morning before going out to explore.
