“A slice of heaven in a beautiful waterfront location”

This is a slice of heaven, a very well equipped accommodation in a fantastic peaceful waterside location. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed extremely comfortable, we were sad not to be staying longer. The hosts Paula & Johan were very friendly amd provided accurate and timely communication. We will definitely return.

Sitting in the pergola, looking out on the Frigon Islands was blissful. We saw more wildlife from here than in the previous two weeks of our trip. The suite is comfortable and spacious and is not shared with anyone. The tv in the lounge is great with loads of channels including Netflix and Prime. Johan and Paula were lovely hosts.

Great waterfront location, friendly checkin. Cozy suite we really enjoyed our stay.

“Relax and Natual Beauty.”

We spent three weeks traveling around Canada, and this was one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we stayed. Additionally, the internet was super fast and available around the entire property, including the garden. Johan was extremely nice and gave us some wild salmon to cook on the BBQ since the local grocery store does not sell fresh fish. Paula's breakfast was delicious. If we ever return to Vancouver Island, we will definitely come back to stay at the Frigon Suite in Port Alice.

“Lovely Port Alice getaway.”

There was plenty of space and all the things we could need in the kitchen. The bed was cozy and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and nice. Wifi worked. Great code lock on the door. We had basic cable so enjoyed watching some TV. We enjoyed the view every time we walked out of the suite. Parking was directly in front of the home so that was easy. Neighbors were friendly too. We brought much of our own food so it was nice to have a full kitchen and table. Also loved the Pizza from the local take out place.

“A little piece of paradise in Port Alice.”

Perfectly situated looking out onto the inlet with a beautiful garden. Use of the barbecue was great to cook our piece of Salmon. Bed was comfy. Our hosts were amazing and the quality of the breakfast was brilliant. Paula’s homemade blueberry scones were absolutely wonderful. Try the Canadian Legion for a further dose of local hospitality and Regans nature tours.

The views from the property. We could lie in bed and see the sea although better experienced sitting outside in the garden. The breakfasts were also a delight.

Big clean room in flat and private bathroom in the appartement. There was a common room with TV and board games as well as a kitchen with all the necessary equipment. The patio was really nice with seaview and with good weather you can even enjoy breakfast outside. Paula and Johan were great hosts and helpful with finding local a tour guide.

Johan and Paula were exceptionally nice people and the breakfast they made was fresh and high quality. The freshly baked products were especially wonderful. It helps that the location was extraordinary.

If you want to find paradise, look no further. We sat outside, having an amazing breakfast, prepared by our incredible hosts, Johan and Paula, and saw the humpback whale swimming in the bay in front of us. You think I am making this up? Nope. It was just like this. This is an awesome place to experience the friendliest hosts ever and to have all the beauty of Canadian nature and wildlife in front of you. We cannot wait to go back.

Breakfast was excellent. We just loved Paula's muffins and suggested to her that she should be selling them. The view, location, the outdoor sitting areas, the bed, and the owners were great. The owners were completely unobtrusive, but they were around if you need them (which we didn't.)

“Don't miss this gem!”

At Frigon B&B you very soon feel more like a friend than as a paying guest. Johan and Paula are great hosts, absolut friendly and they know what hospitality means. The view from the pergola is amazing and with some luck you see bald eagles picking up the fishbones directly from the garden. The varied breakfast is super tasty. If you plan a fishing trip, let Johan organise it with his neighbour John and you won't regret it.

The location is awesome. Right on the water and walking distance to pizza place, coffee shop and the marina. The breakfast served every morning was more than we could finish and very tasty. Port Alice is a real gem and I recommend everyone to visit to experience the sleepy town amongst the backdrop of some awesome nature excursions. When you do come, you have to stay at Frigon Bed and Breakfast.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Frigon. We were fortunate with weather so could enjoy the spectacular breakfasts in the gazebo. We shared a kitchen for other meals with the other room. An important consideration since there aren't any restaurants in Port Alice. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed and then some. Also the BBQ in the gazebo worked well. We really enjoyed talking to our hosts. We now want to visit the Faroe Islands.
