“Easy access Beginners Bay which is perfect for new surfers .”

“5 star location”
Amazing view, can check popoyo waves and even Santana from the top of the hostel. Great facilities in the main building. Cental location and cool staff. Possibility to stay in dorms in this great place at affordable price, just missing a kitchen and would have been quite perfect.

The View is stunning. Ac in the room, drinking water and when you arrive you get a voucher for one welcome drink. Also the beach is just 2 minute walk far away.

Incredible location between all beaches, unbeatable views, lovely staff who helped us with surf lessons. Bunks are sturdy with a fan in the room and sharing a bathroom with only 4 others

My stay at Magnific Rock was unfortunately far from being a good one. I came there to surf and as I'm travelling with my surfboards (longboards), just as I arrived I asked them where I could keep my boards. I was staying in a dorm so it didn't seem the best idea to put them in there. They provide a surf racks in front of the rooms but longboards don't fit there and also there is a lot of direct sun in the afternoon (cannot leave the boards in the sun). The lady that did my check-in told me I could put my boards in their surfboards storage room, where they keep their rental boards as well etc. She even assured me they would be safe as there is a security guard in the night keeping an eye on everything. I left my boards there and when I went to take my board there to go surfing I realised it's kept open during the day but I imagined that once someone rents a boards, they'd go with that person in there and have some control over what is going on in that room. However on my third day, after I came back from lunch, another guest from a dorm next to mine has told me he has seen someone with my board in the water. The board indeed was standing in the surf rack outside of the storage room (I left it inside). He also has explained me how the rental looks like as he rented a board from there - so he explained he just paid the fee at the reception and he went to the storage room to take a board, without being accompanied. That means anybody can go into the storage room (it's on the outside area), take any board and do anything with it and they wouldn't even know. Thankfully nothing happened to my board (few new scratches but no ding). However you can imagine how frustrated I got - the surfing equipment is very expensive, surfing is my job and my boards are customised, handmade surfboards so if something happens to them, it's impossible to get the same one. The other thing is, what would happen if something actually happened to the board?

Absolutely amazing location! You could see the sunset and the surf from the hammock out the front of the room. The views from the front balcony were the best in the entire area! Room was basic, but great value for money
