Overview
Hôtel Château de l'Hermitage is situated in Ennery in the Oise Valley, in the heart of a peaceful site. It is less than 20 minutes by car from 2 different golf clubs. The hotel features rooms in a variety of style and comfort. All of the individually decorated rooms combine authentic, old stonework and contemporary furnishings. Breakfast is served daily between 07:30 and 10:00. Guests can choose to relax in the lounge, which features an original stone fireplace. Hôtel Château de l'Hermitage is at the heart of an exceptional tourist region offering many cultural activities. Pontoise RER Train Station, 2 km away, provides direct access to the centre of Paris.

Slightly shabby but with character. Dinner on terrace was enjoyable. We had a gorgeous big room with lovely bathroom.

“Bad experience….”
Remote location, not easy to reach . They give me a room in the south top part, very hot, no air conditioning in the whole place which I understand but also no ventilator available! Opening the windows makes a lot of bugs comes in. The curtain was very small and I was awake at 5 am from the light. Spiders all over the place, I was sting by one. The under sheet was a cheap ikea ( plastic) which made the whole sleeping experience in this weather horrible

Nice location, although a sign indictating the location of the hotel would help (= missing !!!). The hotel is very nicely situated. And the staff members are really nice! Excellent breakfast.

“Romantic countryside location in the hills of Pontoise”
We received a very warm welcome on our arrival and all the staff during our stay were very courteous and kind, always giving extra effort above and beyond our expectations to ensure our stay was perfect and enjoyable. They also gave us helpful tips on places to visit in the local area. We ate dinner a few times during our stay, and the food was always creatively presented and tasted excellent, cooked to a high standard and often better than the same dishes offered in Paris. It was served in a very pleasant setting, outside under the trees. The breakfast was also lovely with a good selection of bread & pastries, fresh fruit juices, jam, honey, meat and cheese. The coffee was superb and you could also choose to have your eggs as an omelette or fried. Our room was large and spacious with lots of natural light coming from the tall windows, overlooking the trees and with views far across the valley. We appreciated having lots of cupboard space to store our clothes during the stay. The bathroom was also spacious with a bath and separate shower, with fluffy towels and a complimentary bathrobe. The bed was comfortable too, with an extra pillow if needed. The hotel is located on top of a hill, very quiet and calm and really nice for those wanting to come and relax. We took the opportunity of using the excellent e-bikes provided by the hotel and enjoyed a few days exploring the nearby towns and countryside. The village of Pontoise is only a 5min drive away, or a 30min walk if you are travelling without a car. Honestly, everything was perfect and we could not have wished for a better stay. We would highly recommend this location to other travellers!
