Located 20 km from the famous Beauval Zoo, B&B La Ferme des Bordes is set in a renovated farmhouse located in the countryside of Pontlevoy. It offers a garden and free WiFi access is available throughout. With a traditional décor, the rooms have an en suite shower. A continental breakfast is included in the rate and served each morning in the dining room. Evening meals can also be enjoyed, upon prior reservation. please note that the health pass is required The property offers free private parking on site and is located a 30-minute drive from both Amboise and Blois. “A very obliging and helpful hostess who welcomed us warmly! Thank you!”
We loved having breakfast in the dining room with the other guests. It was a simple continental breakfast with freshly baked croissants and very good cheeses. I added some of my own fruit to the yoghurt and used my own decaffeinated tea bag!! Excellent wifi.

“Perfect calm.”
La Ferme des Bordes is in a beautiful, calm location. Try ultra fresh eggs option for breakfast, from the plumpest, happiest hens you will ever see. Fifteen minutes from the chateau at Chaumont sur Loire and its famous garden festival. Our second visit, wonderfully relaxing.

“Good for Visiting the Loire Valley Chateaux”
This farm B&B was well-located for visiting the Loire Valley Chateaux. It was about 35 minutes from Chenonceau and about an hour from Chambord. The city of Blois was about half an hour away, Good restaurants were available in the nearby town of Montrichard, a fifteen minute drive away, The breakfasts were good, with juice, good coffee, yoghurt, croissants and baguettes and good local cheese. Eggs were offered.

“Lovely French countryside stay near Loire chateaus and gardens.”
We had a lovely country stay here on our way to see a few chateaus and gardens in the area. Very friendly and welcoming people. Breakfast was great. Facilities are clean and comfortable.

“Absolute bliss.”
Absolutely loved La Ferme des Bordes. The accommodation is in a two storey wing separate from the owners’ house. It is warm and welcoming (early May) and utterly charming. There is a log burner in the breakfast room and central heating in the bedrooms. Owners are charming and thoughtful. It is incredibly calming, we wish we’d stopped there for a week rather than two nights. Hens and chickens enjoy an idyllic life, you’ll never eat a factory-raised chicken again. For the Chaumont sur Loire garden exhibition, just four minutes away.

Verry kind place, with good and large rooms and good bathroom.The owners are very helpful, I had a flat tire on the care so they found a garage for me ,called there to reserve a place and explaine me how to get there. Recommended.
