Fantastic breakfast. The dinning hall and the tea rooms are marvelously decorated and maintained. The staff made us fell really welcomed and provided an amazing service. We could relax while enjoying the peaceful soundscape of a nice island chateau. Our dog loved the green backyard. We took several walks around the tiny island. Perfect place for families and pets a must!

The star of the show at this hotel is the restaurant. We both enjoyed a fabulous meal, I am a vegetarian and frequently France is an issue for me but this hotel had both a starter and a main course that were delicious. My husband declared his meal the best of the holiday and he is not easily pleased! The wine list is really good too. Staff were so friendly and attentive especially Morgan.

Amazing grounds, amazing staff, amazing food. The building and decor is old and charming. Quite a special place.

Really characterful "fin de siecle" French hotel that used to be a grand private residence and was converted in the 1980's. Breakfast was just a buffet, but had plenty of fresh options.

The owner was amazing, really explained the heritage of the property, we were lucky enough to be given the suite she used when she bought up her children. They also served a lovely breakfast for us at 6.15am as we had to catch a ferry. well looked after. The restaurant food was amazing, by 3 kids under 11 ate all the fish courses, we were blown away. What a lovely place. Will be back.

Great restaurant, even for our kids they provided a menu that was a nice gastronomic introduction. The location was great, many walks nearby and seaside visit is just 20 min to Honfleur. Staying at the hotel Spa was also nice as they have a heated pool inside and outside! Highly recommended!

“An island apart.”

Fabulously situated in the midst of ancient cypress trees and beautiful grounds, this gorgeous old manner house has been lovingly converted into a luxury hotel with swimming pool, sauna , steam room and gym. The property retains its original character which is reflected in the decor and fittings. We slept in the Orangery in a spacious room with ready access to the grounds where we walked with our dog. The restaurant and food were superb, the owner charming , and the staff friendly and efficient. I could not recommend this hotel too highly. It is perfect.

“Dated decor but fabulous grounds in a good location.”

Seems like it was decorated in the 1980s and not updated since. Our room had a cracked mirror and window pane. Dinner was superb but breakfast very disappointing. The potato dauphinoise had obviously been microwaved and the omelet was rubbery. However the smell of the pain au chocolate wafting up to the room was divine to wake too!
