Modern apartment with Castle views. Very spacious. Excellent facilities. Supermarket next door.

Location is excellent, right on the other side of the road from the Templar Castle and in the old town. Close to plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. Beds really comfortable and it really was our home away from home for 4 nights. Girls loves it also. Well equipped kitchenette, good for preparing breakfast and simple meals.

“Wonderful Ponferrada Apartment”

The location of the apartment, directly across from the castle and right on the Camino, could not have been better. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, really well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Being able to machine wash my clothes was a massive bonus.

The building and apartment is well designed, built to a high standard and well equipped. Our apartment was at the rear of the building and was very quiet. The location is ideal for the old town and Castle. The bar downstairs serves some lovely food at any time of day.

“Ponferrada Castle right outside windows”

Love the location with Ponferrada castle right outside the windows! Apartment is very spacious, bright and well-equipped. Very close to restaurants, bars and churches. Could not ask for a better place to rest a day before resuming our Camino trek.

Very good little flat right next to the castle. Location was very quiet. Room was spacious and clean. There is a washing machine, kitchen with microwave, oven, stovetop and fridge. There are dishes, cutlery and things to cook with. Shower was good. Easy check in.

“Convenient spacious apartment”

Lovely spacious apartment overlooking the castle. Comfortable bedding, great kitchen and bathroom. Great big TV. Easy communication. Fantastic bike storage with pumps and tools to service them if need be. But be prepared: we left our bikes and panniers outside the apartment, then walked to the Albergue to check in, then back to the apartment to unload into our apartment, then we walked the bikes back to the Albergue where we stored them safely in their underground car park. We didn’t mind all this. We did make the mistake of walking uphill from the apartment to find the Albergue thinking Avenida del Castillo was next to the castle. Not the part we needed! Best check Google maps for both the Albergue and the apartments first.
