Perfect communication, complete information and directions to the accommodation the day before arrival. The owner is pleasant, polite and smiling. The accommodation is clean, the beds are firm but comfortable. Great authentic decoration. The breakfast is great - ham, salami, various types of sweet pastries, rusks, juices, teas, fresh oranges for fresh juice... Absolutely satisfactory and tasty. Accommodation a short distance from the gate to Pompeii. If I go to Pompeii next time, I will definitely use it again.

It’s a typical DIY BnB where the owner only turns up to set up breakfast or to give you the key . Although there was cake, there was also bread and prosciutto. There were oranges and a juicer so we could make fresh orange juice. It was located a 5-10 minutes walk to the train station and 2 entrances to the dig.

Amazing place and hosts fantastic, who went above and beyond to make there guests feel welcomed and looked after. Andrea and his Google translate made for much entertainment. Would highly recommend! Fantastic location for visiting the ruins or getting the train from Pompei Scavi station to either Naples or Sorento for only 2.80 euros each way.

Host was very good with communication. Andrea met us on arrival & showed us into our room. He was very welcoming & incredibly informative despite the language barrier (thanks google translate!) Their card machine working (was explained to us before arrival) so he kindly gave us a ride in his car to the nearest ATM so we could withdraw cash to pay for our stay. Andrea would arrive each morning to provide breakfast in the shared kitchen area for us & guests in the other room, ask if there was anything he could do to make our stay more comfortable, then he’d leave. The accommodation is literally across the road from the Pompeii ruins, and only about a 200-300m walk to the entrance gate. There is a supermarket within 100m, and many restaurants within an easy walking distance.

Every detail, from the décor to the comfort, was perfect. The location couldn’t be better – just a short walk to the entrance of the archaeological site, yet peaceful and cozy at the same time. But what we will never forget is the way Andrea and his wife made us feel – not like guests, but like friends. Their hospitality was heartfelt, personal, and deeply touching. The way his wife waved us goodbye from the terrace, smiling and sending us off with warmth, is a moment we will carry with us always. We left Nives B&B with full hearts and a deep sense of gratitude. It’s more than just a place to stay – it’s a home, created with love.

It was a lovely property we stayed in the futuristic room it was really cool. Very clean and comfortable . The owner was really lovely and very helpful even though he didn’t speak much English he used translator on his phone brilliant.

Accommodation perfect location for archaeological Pompeii ruins tour. Large supermarjet close by as well as local bars, cafes etc. Andrea and Carnella at Nives wonderful, lovely, helpful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Google translate worked perfectly when communicating with them. Room was lovely, spotless and very comfortable beds. We slept incredibly well the 3 nights we were there as it's a peaceful location off the main road. Breakfast was also adequate and plenty of it to start your day. Parking available outside Nives for those hiring a car for their stay. Local buses are ideal, and cheap, if you want to take a trip to Sorrento or the train station next to the ruins is good value and takes less time to get there. All in all we loved our stay at Nives and would not hesitate to recommend them.
