“A great house in the Centre of Pompeii with an excellent host”

The location, right in the Centre of Pompeii, the house was immaculate and well equipped and was 200 yards from the ruins, Francesco the host was exceptional, from transport to and from the airport to organizing the conducted tour of the Pompeii ruins and a very excellent food and wine tasting high on the slopes of Vesuvius.

THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR OUR VISIT TO THE RUINS OF BOTH POMPEI AND HERCULANEUM, TRAINS TO NAPLES, SORRENTO, RIGHT ON OUR DOORSTEP, FRANCESCO AND DANIELE WERE BRILLIANT HOSTS, VERY FRIENDLY. HELPFUL AND AVAILALBLE INSTANTLY, THE PROPERTY WAS VERY COMFORTABLE, FAMILY FRIENDLY WITH GREAT OUTDOOR SPACE, SECURITY WAS EXCELLENT, BARS, RESTAURANTS AND SHOP LITERALLY AROUND THE CORNER, I WOULD RECOMMEND MIRIAMS HOUSE VERY HIGHLY.

“Really good appartment and host”

A beautiful appartment in the center of Pompeï with a fully equipped kitchen and in every room a smart tv even in the garden there is a tv!! The appartment is very spacious with nice comfortabele beds and perfectly clean! It also has a washing machine.. the appartment is like 3 minutes walking from the archaeological village and 2 minutes walking from the center but still very nice and quiet! I and don't forget the host it is a very warm and helpful man!!! If i go back to Pompeï for sure i go back to this appartment!!

Only a 3 min walk to the best entrance to Pompeii (no crowds here). Very clean, quiet and extremely well equipped (kitchen, AC, appliances, a quiet backyard with table tennis and basketball hoop). The host was wonderful - helpful and available for any questions or communication.

“First class self catering apartment in a great location and wonderful hosts”

Great location, close to the ruins but away from the expensive parts. A few yards down the street there is a really good pasticceria and a family run bar/diner with beer and pizza etc at sensible prices. Keep walking east for 5 minutes and you are in a main piazza beside the main church. The hosts were excellent, we were a bit late in the evening and they waited up for us on the doorstep. They also helped us with local knowledge and even gave us a nice leaving present. The property itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, a lounge/kitchen, large bedroom with one king bed and two singles to use as you like. Air conditioning throughout. Good bathroom with a nice shower. Further back leads to a rear outdoor area partly covered with a bar footy table (!) and other sports equipment. There is also another room with a second kitchen and washing machine etc.

“Wonderful apartment next door to Pompei”

The location was perfect for visiting the ruins of Pompei and being in the center of town directly near restaurants and shops. The apartment was wonderful with all the needed fascilities and accomodations for our kids to play: perfect! My son loved to play basketbal. The hosts were superfriendly, had snacks ready for us, answered questions promptly about arrival and departure, and when we left even had a beautiful gift for my 4 year old daughter: she sleeps with every night (music box): Thank you!

“Great location near the ruins with a fantastic outdoor space”

We loved how close the apartment was to the entrance of the ruins, and how convenient it was to have everything on your doorstep. My children were particularly delighted with the outdoor space: Francesco bought them a new basketball to play with, and the table football and table tennis were really welcome additions. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Francesco and his family were very attentive and helpful hosts; I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

It is so close to everything. Walking a few steps to great pastry shop, restaurants, and most importantly, to the incredible Pompeii ancient city. There is a large back terrace with access to a ping pong table,foosball and there’s a big TV out there. Computer games too. Francesco the host is super friendly and on the ball, ready to help with everything and keen to share your experience. He kept in frequent contact with us and even insisted on taking us out to enjoy delicious pastry on arrival. If you want a great host in call, he is there for you!

“Wonderful hosts and perfect location”

Loved everything at this property and would highly recommend! Would happily stay again :) Excellent communication with Francesco before arriving at the property. Him and his nephew Daniele met us and showed us all the features of the property. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. You won’t get bored at the apartment! Ping-pong, PS4, board games, card games and more! The rooms were all very clean, air conditioning in the dining room and the bedroom, comfortable beds and a good sized bathroom. There were plenty of amenities too that we were invited to use. It’s the perfect location. The property is maybe a 5 minute walk to the entrance of Pompeii, a 10 minute walk from the train station and there are many restaurants and bars close by. The hosts were more than happy to give recommendations for the local area as well as Naples after we checked out. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

“Excellent property, hosts and location, highly recommended”

We stayed in Miriam’s house for four nights in June 2024. Miriam’s house is in a brilliant location, approximately 10 minutes walk from Pompeii Central Train Station and about 5 minutes walk to the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance to the archaeological site. There are many bars and restaurants virtually on the door step. The supermarket is a bit further, do not believe Google The house is very clean and well equipped with high quality items. There is a pleasant sunny patio. There is a good washing machine and an area for drying clothes. It took us a bit of searching to find the iron and the ironing board however the owner is prompt at answering queries. My opinion of the house is; if this was mine, it is far too nice and I would be reluctant to rent it to the general public. It is one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in.

Lovely flat. Close to the station and archiological sites. Fantastic hosts. Very keen to ensure our stay was problem free.

Beautiful, modern house. Large garden with several tables/chairs, table tennis/football table. 2nd kitchen in the garden. Everything in perfect working order. Lovely beds and shower. Close to Pompeii entrance and restaurants. Very responsive and friendly host. Thank you Francesco and son, we couldn’t have stayed anywhere better!

Everything was absolutely fabulous! Great location, friendly hosts, and beautiful space with everything you might need. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Pompei. Loved it!

Great communication from owner , really friendly and gave loads of recommendations. The house is so comfortable with all the home comforts and more. We loved the garden space. Great location to explore Pompei and beyond close to transport links on all rail lines.

Everything! It’s rare I’d use the word exceptional in a review but honestly this place merits it! From the help and communication with Francesco even before we arrived and all throughout our stay (more related to Pompei as everything to do with our stay was perfect!) to presenting a beautiful property, exceptionally clean with every little detail thought of. A fridge full of complimentary drinks & savoury snacks and sweets in the kitchen. KWe met his lovely mom who is responsible for the place being pristine & his nephew who was helpful and a lovely young man. It’s a family affair and they take pride in their property and it shows in every way 😊 The location is fab, it’s only a 3-4min stroll from the entrance to the ruins but yet very private and quiet. Lovely restaurant ‘Le Delezie’, ice cream parlour and shops just around the corner. Note there are 2 train stations (2kms apart) in Pompei it arriving by train. Miriam’s house very near the main ‘Pompei’ station. We only stayed one night as we were travelling down the Amalfi coast but in hindsight, we would have happily stayed in Pompei for the week and travelled by train to the places we wanted to go. Also, one thing that might be helpful to know is there is free luggage storage at the ruins for anyone who needs it 😉 Forgot to say kids loved the fussball table, PlayStation, garden hose! and basketball.For families there is one double bed and two single in the main bedroom (with extra bedding available) and a double sofa bed in the living room.

“Exceptional property in the middle of a wonderful city, with a superb host.”

The hosts met us at the property and gave us a tour of the facilities, some suggestions as to where was best to eat and to visit. They could not have been more accommodating. The property itself was spacious and bright, with great air conditioning, comfy beds, breakfast cakes and coffee, and soft drinks all laid on. There was a pleasant garden space with its own separate, stocked kitchen as well as that within the main house. The shower room was clean and modern, reflecting the decor throughout. The entire apartment was equivalent to a 5 star hotel, but with all the additional benefits of a self contained apartment and separate living space. In terms of location, it was perfect. It's situated immediately between the modern city of Pompeii, and the ancient excavations of the Roman city, both of which are within 5 minutes walk, There's a cool bar on one side, and a higher-end restaurant on the other. It's near the two stations in Pompeii, which gave us easy access for day trips to Naples, Herculaneum, Paestum, and to the beaches at Agropoli. In sum, this was the perfect location for a wonderful apartment, with a most generous and considerate host. Faultless.

The apartment is central with easy access to the ruins of Pompeii, and also to the train stations. You are spoiled for choice for cafe's and restaurants in this location. The host is extremely kind and friendly, he even brought us for coffee and pastries on our first day and texted us frequently during the week to check if everything was going well. The apartment caters for your every need in a practical way, and is spacious, beautiful and comfortable. I would recommend this apartment highly, you will enjoy your stay. We already looking forward to going back.
