“I would give a million stars if I could”

Absolutely everything was wonderful but I would like to highlight the host Carmen, what a delightful person and host, she went above and beyond with everything. The apartment was excellent, very comfortable, lovely decorated, brilliant location close to the two main stations in Pompei, great restaurants and cafes close by and the archeological park at walking distance. We were very lucky to have the whole apartment, as we needed two bedrooms and Carmen made sure we were more than comfortable, she also was super helpful with guidance and advice. The apartment is superbly equipped with everything you possibly could need, brilliant coffee machine and the freshly breakfast provided by Carmen every morning, was delicious and generous. Pompei is also a wonderful place to visit, hopefully we can return one day and we would stay at Carmen’s lovely apartment no doubt. Thank you Carmen, we will never forget you and we hope to see you again ☺️

The room is nice decorated and big enough, with a balcony. There’s a kitchen with everything we needed. Our host Carmen lives next door and is more than ready to help us in just anything we needed — from breakfast to our taste or organising a New Year’s Eve dinner. She really made our stay in Pompeii unforgettable. The flat is in the middle of the town, close to the train stations and the archeological site of Pompeii.

Carmen was very welcoming and spent time to greet us and make sure that we were settled. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful, kept us going until 1-2pm. The B&B is in easy walking distance of modern Pompeii and the archaeological site. Also easy to hop on a bus or train to get to Naples, Vesuvius and Sorrento. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would happily recommend.

Very nice room and bathroom, spotlessly clean, excellent location near restaurants and railway station - and short walking distance to the ruins of Pompeii. The breakfast is served in the kitchen, and in addition to croissants, biscuits, orange juice and coffee, it included fresh fruit, and on one day also yoghurt and cereal. We arrived very late, and were happy that the owners offered to pick us up from the airport.

We stayed 4 nights in March 2023 to see the Roman ruins at Pompeii and Herculaneum (a short train ride away). The room and en-suite were very clean and modern within a suite of a residential apartment block. Carmen the host, was lovely and very helpful. She explained the facilities perfectly, (like how to work the coffee machine) gave tips for sightseeing and showed us a short-cut to the station, which saved us time when we checked out! We had a choice of continental breakfasts, set up in the communal kitchen/diner at a time to suit us. The kitchen was well equipped for simple dining. B&B Coffee and City is about 10 minute walk to the Amphitheatre entrance of Pompeii ruins, although we walked up to the far end (Porto Marina) and then worked our way back down, exiting closer to home after a good day exploring the ruins.

it was clean and well organized, just 10 mins away from one of the entrances to Scavi Pompei. close to restaurants and parking spots. the owner was very kind and helpful!

Carmen is the kindest and most helpful host ever! Carmen had everything prepared for arrival. She helped us reach the Pompeii Ruins by personally driving us in the morning as we had a 'skip the line' ticket for an entrance that was on the other side of town. Carmen gave us good clear instructions on the exit to take so we arrived close to our B&B with only a five minute walk at the end of the day. This allowed for us to follow a one way route through the Ruins which worked perfectly for us. Carmen provided a lovely breakfast and the common area and our private room and bathroom were all clean and very comfortable. We also like Carmen's decorating style very much so the rooms had a very nice feel to them. We found the location to be perfect for us with a choice of restaurants close by. Unfortunately we had a 'travel drama' as we arrived by taxi from Naples and Carmen and her husband were so very kind to help and support us through this event. Carmen's B&B is like a home away from home. My daughter and I loved our stay at Carmen's! Carmen has two rooms available that share a common lounge/kitchen space. This B&B would be perfect for a family that requires two rooms - one for mum and dad and the other for older children. Or for a group of friends travelling together that wish to be close by but not sharing the same room. We recommend a stay in Pompei at Carmen's B&B.
