Overview
The Agorà hostel is a family business located in the modern center town, two steps away from the stations, the ruins entrance and the central square. Relaxing and peace are the main features of this lovely place. Agorà Hostel offers air-conditioned accommodation, just 100 metres from Pompeii's Virgine Del Rosario Sanctuary and a 5-minute walk from the Anfiteatro gate of the archaeological city. Private and shared rooms available around an inner courtyard. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, which also includes a large patio.

“Unpleasant service stood out”
A seemingly good option thanks to its location close to the center of Pompei (which is a tiny city, so it’s not really hard to be near the center anyway). The sunny garden is a nice bonus and a pleasant place to spend some time. The room, however, is very packed—around 12 people sleeping tightly together—and there is just one bathroom, without a proper door, which makes it quite uncomfortable. But what really stood out on the negative side was the wife of the owner. She made a scene over me ordering a coffee using a name she considered incorrect (“We in Naples don’t call it this way!” she shouted), then served me a deliberately cold coffee, and afterwards threw me out of the common room where I was quietly working on my computer just three minutes after checkout. Definitely the weakest point of the stay.

Very convenient location, a minute walk to local restaurants, seven minutes from the train station, and around ten minutes from the Amphitheater entrance of Pompeii. Staff was exceptionally nice and the lovely property cats were an added bonus. The beds were comfortable and the toilets and shower were separated.

Such wonderful hosts - helpful and kind. The hostel was homey and close to the archaeological site and train station.

The location is great. Very close to the main street and ruins. Hostel is amazing, you can enjoy in the garden surrounded with trees. AC is always on so you wont get any bothering by the heat. The owners are wondering , they are amazing. Radiating positive energy and happiness. Thanks for everything, it was the one of the best hostel i have every stayed at.

From the second I walked through the door Lorena made me feel so welcome and at ease. Both Lorena & Vincenzo are so approachable and are very knowledgeable on the area, attractions, and onward transport! Great price for the location! Absolutely perfect for exploring Pompeii! “The best of kindness”
They let me know many things about Pompeii. Like a good restaurant and the Sunday of first week, free entry to pompeii archeological site. Beautiful garden and share space are also perfect! You will not be regretted

“Superb hostel”
The personel Vincenzo and his wife are AMAZING hosts. Always ready to answer your questions and smiling. The dorm and the whole place was nice and clean with the lockers for personal belongings which is nice to have. Guitar and small electric piano were fun to play. Finally, the placement is perfect, near 2 train stations. Grazie mille
