“Disappointing stay”
First, the location of the property is not the one written on booking or google. Second, the room wasn’t clean (the trash of a previous guest was left in the room). Third, there were street dogs roaming free on the property. Fourth, despite the pictures there were no mosquitos nets, and the owner was reluctant to give us one (Eventually, he provided us with one). Fifth, the door of one room wasn’t properly working and did not close completely.

Priyanna Guesthouse was a very nice place to stay in Polonnaruwa. It is located not too far from the ruines of Polonnaruwa in a very beautifull, green and quiet neighborhood. We had a big, clean room and bathroom for six people which we very much liked. Priyanna was a perfect host that was very friendly and helpfull. He provided us with amazing breakfasts and diners. Furthermore, he gave us the needed information how to get through town and provided us with rental bikes to visit the ruines. Priyanna is very flexible. You can talk to him about your plans and he'll give you some more advice and make sure breakfast is ready according to when you want to start your day. We would definitely recommend staying here for a visit to Polonnaruwa.

“Pleasant room for good price in Polonnaruwa”
Pleasant room with own bathroom in Polonnaruwa. Comfortable even for 3 persons. Check-in and check-out was easy. The owner was friendly, he tried to arrange us a train ticket and he also took our luggage with own tuk-tuk to the close walking-bridge where we could continue our travel with car. Local breakfast was good. Good price.

It's located very close to the ancient ruins, so it's possible to reach them easily, but not anything else. There is hot water. It was possible to have our clothes washed for extra money.
